Minecraft Username: 314 Brief Description: I lagged out. When I logged back in, it showed a lot of strange server-looking messages and sent the welcome message twice. Now I am unable to chat since logging on and the environment doesn't expand when walking towards it. Instructions: 1. Lag out. ("Disconnected." was all it said) 2. Rejoin. 3. Receive strange messages. 4. Try to chat/walk around. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Once so far. Not sure whether to relog in case I am unable to reproduce... Result: Unable to chat, environment not loading. As if I would lag out. But no disconnect... Expected Result: If there was an expected result, then please post what was supposed to happen, as opposed to what didn't. Evidence: Some screenshots. Will record now and try to upload tomorrow. Will also try to stay ingame as long as possible as long as this state persists. http://imgur.com/Gppvgik,Z2NOQ8j EDIT: VIdeo added.
Small update: The outer chunks apparently only loaded texture-wise. Possible to fly through them. Will post a video soon. Small update #2: Apparently my skin bugged, too. The base skin is still there, but the tux overlay is hidden. I have absolutely no idea what a cause might be all of these bugs have in common. First, I suspected my upload speed. However, it's at 0.5mbps (Down: 5mbps) and one of the best I can usually have... #Update 3: emongolab foce-teleported me to spawn, apparently that fixed it as well. (SOmething else to add: Players were apparently not displayed for me while bugged.) Update #4: Checked some of the coords from the screenshot. All with y=191 stand for signs in my chests-from-christmas-2014-room. Some others stand for trade signs. Apparently the coords note the location of any sign that was in my view range when joining.
I believe the unable to locate sign has something to do with trade signs. Is there any that would be in the area?
F3+A didn't work, and I assume relogging would have fixed it. However, I was more wondering about the cause of the bug since I have been unable to reproduce it since.
