If this is a know bug, why is it not publicized to everyone? I would think if this is a known bug, the game admins should take a precautionary measures and warn us when the mining worlds will be reset and give us a warning message everytime we enter the mining world that we should return back the overworld when we log off. That way we can get out character out of the resetting world.

How was i supposed to know if I stayed in the mining world during a reset, I will lose all my stuff and die in the process? Its not like it happens all the time. Last time I left my character in the mining world during a reset, My character spawned on the surface of the mining world. Since this is the first time this has happened to me, I wouldnt have known about this issue and would of assumed my character would just spawn on the surface of the mining world.

 

I see what your saying. Maybe when an GM posts on this thread, I will make a suggestion about warning players when going into the mining world to not log off in the mining world. Would still like to see my hard earned eff7 pick in my hands though. I'm afraid that would be the end of me on this server if a GM just quickly reads and posts they can't help me out without giving it a second thought...would think they would at least be reasonable about it, but I guess we will see.

Once this bug report hits a week old, I will be tagging every GM at I believe should look at this thread.

 

Can I have one of you guys respond to this bug report? Its been over a week and no one has read/replied to this bug report.

This issue isnt being investigated though. Or, if it is, you ugys have given me no indication that you are looking into it. So how long would you have me wait before I go asking staff members to assist me in this issue im having with a bug report? I waited over a week with no response, which is why I tagged staff members to look into this for me. If one of you guys would have told me you were investigating this bug, I would not have tagged anyone. Or at the very least just giving me an ETA on when you guys could look into this bug report. I feel the longer you guys wait to help me out in this matter, the more likely you guys will not be able to figure out the problem and just put me and my issue on the back burner indefinitely.

 

This is seriously unfortunate for both me and the server. I cannot support a server with real cash that wont support me when the server is at fault of killing off my character and destroying all my hard work. I am afraid I wont be able to continue to donate real money to this server because of this situation and how it was resolved. I would seriously hate to think the real reason why you guys wont return me my items is because your afraid of others coming out of the wood-work claiming they lost their items to "bugs" too. There are always ways to prevent something like this from happening, and its very simple. Also, I'd like to point out that you can too confirm what the player had on hand prior to death, as well as figured out where that player re-spawns after they have died. simply saying you cannot confirm what the player has on hand prior to death is unobtainable, doesn't make it true. As a game admin, you should be able to view records of this data: Where they died, what did the die from, what was in the inventory upon death, and where they re-spawned. I mean, a simple mod could make this data for you and save it in a text doc that you could refer to later

Non-the-less, this is a legitimate problem that the staff are fully aware of, but yet the staff have taken no precautionary measures to fix. There are so many solutions to thwarting this bug/glitch; I just find it hard to believe that this type of problem is not one of the staffs number one priorities.

Since I will no longer be supporting this server financially and other means, I want to also say to those reading this thinking I'm out of line or I'm a worthless noob that just needs to quit, are you satisfied with your donations to this server? If so, great. Continue to donate. I on the other hand, am not satisfied and I to will not be giving to this server anymore. I'm not saying my contributions to this server wont go noticed, in fact, I'm sure this server will be just fine in funds to keep it running without my help. However, until I see my items returned to me, and this bug/issue resolved, expect nothing out of me in regards to money, support and/or feedback.
