Aight guys, so this summer, I am going to work, make munnaiz, and build myself a tower. I'm pretty good with this stuff, so I don't necessarily need help, but it would be nice for sure.
These are going to be the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM SPECS (In parentheses will be possible upgrades):
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5 Ghz Six-Core Processor OR Intel Core i5-3570k 3.4 Ghz Quad-Core Processor (Perhaps i7-3770k, but doubt it, this is good)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (No upgrades)
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard OR ASROCK 970 EXTREME4 ATX AM3+ (No upgrades)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600 Memory [RAM] (Perhaps 16Gb, but highly doubt it, this is enough)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM Internal Hard-Drive. (Might get an SSD too
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 (660 TI, 670)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid-Tower Case (No upgrades, it's a great case)
Power Supply: RoseWill Green 530W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (No upgrades, this is enough power)
Optical Drive: Lite-on iHAS 124-04 DVD/CD Writer (No upgrades needed)
I am getting the OS for free from a friend, it will be WIN7 Professional.
Tell me your thoughts guys!! THE TOTAL COST WILL BE ~$600-$1000!!!

Also, if you're going to rate this based on performance, consider that I'm a hardcore gamer. I have a 1680x1050 monitor and will probably eventually get a new 1080p monitor. I do not just play Minecraft. I am not building this for Minecraft...Minecraft runs fine on my current old hunk of junk.

If you're a hardcore gamer, what games do you play? If it's high-end games, I'd recommend upgrading your graphics. I don't know much about NVidia cards, but I'm pretty sure the 660 is a lower-end card, but still decent. I could be wrong, so please correct me. I know more about AMD cards
**EDIT** Just googled it, and the 660 is actually pretty good :/ -

(Other Examples: Planetside 2, Battlefield 3, Bioshock, etc. I think you get it).
Also, I made an update to the CPU options, I might get an AMD FX-6300 to save money. Intel is truly more reliable and stronger, and I like it better, but AMD is better if you want to save money, so I may get it. -

What I'd suggest you do is upgrade the FX 6300 to an 8350, it's $60 more, but it's quite a bit faster. It's what I have, and I'm loving it a lot

Remember, I just want a nice and cheap PC that will game High-Max settings in most games, I don't want a Pc that will run in like ultra-high rez with games on max settings and full anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.
Also, the Fx-6300 is cheap and will not bottleneck a 7870, keep that in mind. -
