There are no plot height building limits within the castle walls. Those in the village must adhere to the village build limit. 7. If you do not log in for 7 days, you will be evicted. Calare Wiki Castle Crashers Introducing the new Calare PVP game named Castle Crashers. This game was created by me but has been later found to be a variant of a game made by another ECC player and the name of their game is Defend the Castle. However, this is how you play Castle Crashers. Objective: You must destroy as much as you can of the other teams defensive building to get to their flag and brim it back to your base to win. How to play: It is PVP so there is battle. First, two teams are created in the lounge consisting of even teams. When both teams are ready, the game master will open the doors. You have 2 mins to build (a) defensive building(s) to buy time for your team. Any form of structure is allowed, however, you are restricted to only 640 cobble blocks and 2 mins. When the timer runs out, the game master declares "Time!" and both teams battle and destroy to get the enemies flag. How to win: The first team to place the enemy flag in their flag box wins when their team logo lights up on the board. Rules: 1. You must come empty handed. This means no armor or weapons of any sort. The ONLY allowable item is porkchops (so you don't die from hunger). 2. Each team has two chests. One chest has tools and the other materials. You can ONLY use what is in those chests. Using anything else will automatically get you disqualified from the game. 3. All materials and tools must be put back in the chests. If there are no tools for you, you can use /kit starter and use the tools given. HOWEVER, ANY OTHER THINGS YOU GET WILL NOT, I REPEAT, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. 4. Any items you do bring to the game is at your own risk. I will not replace anything lost because you failed to follow the rules of the game. I even have the right to confiscate your items if need be. 5. Please leave all left over blocks to the maintenance crew of the arena unless we are continuing to play. In which I may ask for your help. 6. Don't break the arena. I understand that accidents happen. Please replace anything that you do break. However, griefing will get you removed from perms and a complaint will be processed to get you banned. I will not tolerate griefing. 7. Respect your fellow player. As players of minecraft and PVP enthusiasts, we understand that sometimes things can get heated. In that case I kindly ask you to /pm each other and not speak openly. I also will not respond to anger or anyone whining about a loss. This is PVP. Respect that it's there. 8. And once more, I won't replace anything you lose. This includes everything like exp, diamond this and that's. I replace nothing. Don't bring it in the arena if you don't want to lose it. Any loss is a gain from the person who obtained it fair and square. That is the cost of being incompetent. Final notes: If played right this game should be a blast. I may edit this in the future to reflect on any ideas or rules that may need to be implemented so I suggest keeping track of this thread. All are welcome. Introducing Insurance We now have insurance in the town. Those who want it can ask me for it. Here's the insurance, amount, and information on them. Grief Insurance Cost: $1500 About: This insurance covers your house and any other buildings you own in the town. If someone were to grief your house, we would replace the missing blocks for you.* This means if you are attacked or part of a massive attack and you own this insurance, I will personally pull blocks out of my town chests to repair the damage. We have had a few attacks happen within the town recently and it would be ideal if the residents of Calare were to be protected.** *: This does not cover ore blocks or lockables that were stolen/broken into. Make sure that you lock your stuff up tight. **: Intentionally attacking your own plot will not qualify for the insurance and will look bad on you. Please be honest. Inactivity Insurance Cost: $750 About: Suppose you had a recent inconvenience that has prevented you from logging into the server! With inactivity insurance, you are assured ease for 1 whole month. This is to say you are protected from inactivity eviction for a whole month.*** It is ideal for those who are going on vacation, those who have medical illnesses, and those who can't predict their schedule.**** It is a very cheap deal and well worth the money. ***: This is not a recurring payment. If you pay $750, you are protected until you are done with the server or until you decide to sell your insurance back. ****: Please do not give out any personal information for your safety. I do not want to know if you have an illness or a personal problem as that is your business and letting others know opens you up to possible malicious behavior. Information I accept trades of items for insurance but only ore/valuable items. I don't want 20 chests full of $0.01 materials. I base my prices on the server prices and server standards. I promise I will not ever scam you out of money. The trade process is for those who simply cannot afford to buy with money. It's available to everyone whether or not you have money (I like nice items XD). After you buy the insurance, I will put your name on a board of insurance holders. The post will state your name, your insurance, and the amount you owe or Paid Full if you have paid it already. I take daily payments for insurance but if you skip a day, you have up to a week to continue pay or I will cancel the insurance plan and there will be no refunds. Continuous late payments will also result in a cancellation. When you start paying, you sign up for the insurance contract. The signs on the board will be locked for both your protection and for the protection of the insurance contract. Insurance fraud, meaning changing your plan without my consent, is illegal. I will then remove your insurance and I may remove you from the town. Now that all the crazy stuff is done, let's get down to business. Calare Town Positions The Kings Hand (co-mayor) Positions Available: Available Description: Helps maintain and build the town when necessary. You will be my right-hand-man/woman and will get a decent chunk of change from the pumpkin farm. Your input on town ideas is needed and will be helpful in future projects. I have many plans for the future and I want someone I can trust enough to do the job with me. You do most of the same things I do but major ideas and demolition projects must go through me first. As well, the only time you can remove players from the town is if they are caught griefing or if they have been banned from the server and I don't get rid of them first or inactivity. All LWC is dealt with by me and me alone. Requirements: Must be already a member of Calare for at least 2 weeks. Must also be an active member of Calare. Must also be resident+ rank. Town Maintenance Worker Positions Available: 2 Description: Your responsibilities as maintenance worker is to clean up and maintain the town. If there is griefing in the town, you will be required to clean up and maintain the town structures as well as our insurance holders' houses. Your other responsibility will be to demolish evicted/ban players' houses as well as town structures AT MY REQUEST and nobody else's. Requirements: Must be a member of Calare. Must also be active. Work within the city is good and will make you more eligible for this position. Knights Positions Available: 4 Description: You are an enforcer of the town rules.
