As of 9/01/12 SKSoccer had been trying to sell this town (see forum post http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=28446) and a successful sale transaction was made on 9/10/12.
New owner/Mayor: ahreckshun
Co-Mayor: KMaxwell (appointed 9/19/12)

Former residents of Godtown are eligible to retrieve their belongings, and are encouraged to remove any existing LWC prior to their departure. No refunds will be given for the plot sales themselves, as it was not the new owners who made that sale.

Per the above link, town features were given as:

These buildings were sold as part of the town, not personal residences, so they will remain. Personal dwellings, if requested, can be demolished and the materials given back to the prior resident. Or, the plot can be purchased, under new ownership, and residency re-established. PM ahreckshun or KMaxwell in-game, or leave a comment below.
