As a couple of you may know already, I have very recently experienced a terribly tragic event. On Monday, a good friend of mine was struck and killed by a reckless driver just outside of our school. It's been a lot to overcome and I'm currently experiencing a whirlwind of emotions, mostly depression, frustration, and anger at the world for taking someone so young and dear. It shows just how close cold reality really is to us. That said, I apologize in advance if I say something harsh or hateful in the coming weeks, it's been a rollercoaster for me lately and while I try to stay optimistic, I can't make any promises. I also want tot take this time to point out just how important of a responsibility driving is. Always know that when you're behind the wheel you're accounting for not only the safety of yourself but also the people around you. Even the simplest negligence can lead to tragedy. Stay safe ECC.
