Minecraft Username:[/b] HCPillarofFire Brief Description: Only wanted to make a note that the mcmmo for combat skills is broken I cannot seem to gain any experience with it. Though the other skill types work fine.
Hmm I wonder if it is just not working for mobs I have not tried to attack people. And as I said no combat skill is leveling up but I guess that is only against mobs so far as I can tell.
Well I have been leveling up from fighting mobs up until yesterday so not sure what you are referring to.
ok but up until yesterday I was leveling up all off that is from fighting zombies. I know what I have been doing even Jakeyray knew be built the spawner for me. I don't fight other users with my weapons so I can conclude that I could gain xp from monsters up until the rollback. Maybe it was a glitch or something that the rollback fixed. If it was a glitch I am glad it is fixed if it wasn't supposed to do that but if not I am just making this case.
Sometimes when the chunks with the mobs in them unload and reload (You tp away or you reconnect) the little "marker" that marks the mobs as spawned from a spawner/spawnegg gets removed, so you get exp from killing them. This is a bug that's existed ever since the function was added.
Ok well go ahead and lock this thread I feel that this is just going around in circles lol. I hadn't once not got exp until after the rollback so I am really not sure what happened.
