As you no doubt know, Essentials is responsible for a large amount of commands available on this server. I'm looking for command improvement suggestions, ideas about how we could improve the commands we already have to make it more useful or save you time. Essentials is responsible for a large amount available to players and moderators, (we have about 120 available in total) you can find the full list here: http://wiki.ess3.net/doc/ I'm also responsible for /lottery, /fill and a few other ECC specific mod commands. The following features are NOT included in this, suggesting changes to these commands will be ignored: Survival Games Regions/Towns LWC/Chest protection McMMO Chat Channels Examples: /sell - Support multiple item types, for example /sell dirt,stone,cobble /kit - Colour kit's that you can't use at the current time red, or strike through.
/sell all -<item>. To sell all in your inventory except those listed under <item>. I have been dying for this command :< Maybe /ch afk <Time>? To see how long it's been since their afk message went up?
This doesn't need coded, Essentials allows for custom item names in /sell - This just needs andrewkm to edit a config file. Hmm, could be added. I already said chat stuff is not Essentials in the OP. Hmm, maybe. If I added this, it would still need a price set by Andrewkm, and I don't know if he would want to do that.
/sell dirt 50 Icondigi $3.00 Icondigi has requested $3.00 for 50 dirt type /accept to receive your item Idea?
Hmm, I think this is a little more complicated than we need. I do want to implement a trading system at some point, to allow people to trade with each other safely, but I don't think I'd do it this way.
/sell Hotbar Or for towns. /town history <name of region>. Will show you the history of perm holders in the town/owners.
/restart or /nr (next restart) It would allow people to see how long till the server is automatically restarted. personally i would find it useful in many situations.
/home, /sethome, and /delhome could be short into /h, /sh, and /dh and a add on to the /sell all command: /sell all -(item/s) ex. /sell all -dirt, this would sell everything but my dirt
I'm currently only looking suggestions for improving current commands. This wouldn't fall under Essentials anyway.
Yep, a few of these were suggested earlier, as for the shorter aliases, this is already supported by the code, just requires andrewkm to edit a config file (bukkit.yml).
If the ExtendedCommands list is included in this list, (Sorry if it isn't, i'm not very familiar with plugins) then I suggest removing /ci and all variations, but keeping the command /clearinventory. This is a very tricky command, and I feel it is best to know exactly what you are trying to do when entering it.
