Suggestion:
change the word "felon" to "defendant"
Reason:
Users may be wrongfully accused in complaints and to call them a "felon" is incorrect.
a felon is a person convicted of a felony/crime. a defendant is someone who is accused of a crime but has yet to be proven guilty.
Any Other Information:
someone wrote a complaint against me that was quickly dismissed. but if you search through the complaints section the first line under the description reads "felon username: [usernamehere]" i find it very rude and tarnishing to anyone who has been wrongfully accused.

Plus infinite.

Then we'd have to change "scam" to something else too, because that implies malicious intent.
Regardless, I'm in favor of both.-

ok. people are bringing up the word "scam" but that word is fine when used in the correct context. context would be "attempted scamming". due to the word "scam" being brought up by the user filing the complaint it would be based on their wording not on official wording of ECC. the "felon" wording is from ECC and should be professional at all times, something we can't hold against individual users when writing their complaints.
-
We'd have to eliminate all uses of "scam" for it to complete its intended purpose.-

I personally think 'scamming' is too engrained to be changed, and don't really see the need for it.
In terms of this suggestion though, 'felon' isn't correct and is actually something I have never noticed before despite having read thousands of complaints! -

But the user should use both words "felon" and "defendant", not to mean that the word "felon" must be replaced to "defendant"-

I think the simplest way to fix "felon" would be to use "Accused Username" instead. Saying "defendant" could potentially confuse younger players.

I agree that "felon" should be changed but not to "defendant". Maybe something more like, "Player being accused" or something.
"Defendant" can be confusing, not everyone knows exactly what it means. -

So? try "The Accused's username" There are plenty of synonyms. :D
-
"Felon" isn't the best word to use, but not everyone knows the definition of a "defendant" and it could lead to confusion in the complaint system.

I acrually quite like this complaint, and I can see where you are coming from, felon makes it sound like the person is instantly in the wrong, so something like defendant or The person you're complaining about is better. However, I think we need something sort and snappy not long and boring. +1
