Complaint:
Mr_Heatmiser and I had a contract. I loaned him 80k, and he promised to pay me back 90k. This has not worked out.

Mr_Heatmiser explained to me that he had a town, and a buyer for it, but as Resident, he could not transfer ownership of it, so he needed an 80k loan to apply for mayor, so he could sell that town. He would pay me 90k back.

Additional Information:
It was not responsible of me to loan Mr_heatmiser 80k. I listened to his plan, and it seemed very sound. Looking back on it, I can only think that fatigue hampered my judgement. I did not verify that he actually had a town under his perview for sale, I did not verify whether he actually had a willing buyer, I did not look at his history.

The original contract stated a 1 hour turn around for payment. I completely understood that was an unreasonable amount of time, considering his plan. I reasoned it was more trouble to ask him to revise it, and I just planned to give him the time to complete his plan by getting mayor, and then conducting his transaction. I did not plan to seek enforcement of the contract 60 minutes from its issue.

Mr_hearmiser asked me to tp him to his new region he was establishing. I did so, an inquired as to the status of things. Mr_heatmiser did not outwardly lie as to what happened. As our interaction today failed, I realized that Mr_heatmiser did not carefully read the wiki for the application rules, and didn't even read andrewkm's response to his mayor application. As it became clear that this was a bad series of events, I gave Mr_heatmiser the chance to come up with a reasonable and detailed plan of action to resolve these events. Mr_heatmiser did not come up with a reasonable plan, and I requested he return as much money as possible.

Mr_heatmiser did return 55,256.32 ecodollars. That leaves 24,743.66 of the original loan unreturned.

Mr_heatmiser did not lie to me about the unfortunate turn of events, however it does not appear he takes the situation seriously. He even posted a self-ban request.



I am requesting that as much of the remaining 24,743.66 ecodollars of the principal loan be sought out, if possible. I did voice an opinion for him to be banned, but that is only for you to evaluate and decide on appropriate action.

JokerBoss99 I would appreciate that this conversation on this forum topic remain on topic. I am getting tired of forum posts of serious natures getting spammed with other things. It's more than a little ridiculous, especially for events that do not involve you, and events that you are not providing insight with.

clou44 Is there a problem with the minimap mod? It helps me with coordinates, waypoints, and helping my constructions. If it's not kosher I can remove it.
