Felon Username: Kecks07 Complaint: Scamming through loan Information/Evidence: Please look at all screenshots. So Kecks07 and I agreed on a deal on sept 16. He requested 50k for a loan and claimed it was for paying off his market shop. We agreed that I would pay him 50k and in turn he would pay me back 100k in 2 days (sept 18). I give him the money for the loan, and all is good... Spoiler Evidence: The next day, I asked him how on track he wass for paying back the loan. He was suddenly a different person. He told me - Oh! I don't have to pay your back your loan, because RockDassie said so! And he's a mod! No money for you! ... I told him that what he did was scamming. He then asked if he could pay back just 50k or 60k, and when I told him to follow our original terms mentioned above, he responded by threatening: "k ill get banned an keep the money...." I told him that Kecks07 was threatening to get himself banned and keep ALL my money. He told me to persist for all my rightful money after getting the 60k. But Kecks said that he would ONLY pay back 60k or keep the money. We both decided that I should get the 60k first, and then ask for him to pay back the remaining 40k. The risk was too great for me and I did not want to lose all my earned money that I spent a month to get. So I told him that he could pay me 60k first. After, I asked him to pay me the remaining 40k he owed. He refused, even after I told him that he would face punishment for what he did. in your screenshots it shows you agreeing to him paying you only 60k and it shows you werent forced, you cant make up stuff to try and take away the deal you made, you also arent losing your hard earned money that took you a month to make your making a 10k profit.
I spoke with Kecks07 as indicated in a couple of the screenshots. This was our conversation: Kecks07 does in fact have screenshots of me telling him we do not enforce loans. However, as I told him in a later thread about the topic, I never intended that he go and take out a loan specifically to scam somebody out of their money. And that is exactly what he did. It is true that we do not enforce loans here on ECC, as we have no specific rules regarding them. However, we do have many rules in place against scamming. Given what I see here and what Kecks07 has said to me personally, it is clear that he intended to scam. Additionally he attempted to bully you into agreeing to change the terms by getting himself banned. This is simply unacceptable behavior. The user is banned.
