what? 1.9 pvp is vastly superior to 1.8 and lower pvp. Why would it be changed?

 

Ever since the transition to 1.8 from 1.7, minecraft pvp has been falling. 1.7 was almost purely based on skill and supported secondaries (like flint and steel) greatly. 1.8, you can't switch to your sword after using flint and steel, because there is a time before the sword registers, or something like that. 1.9 is now making it to we have to time hits? Ruined, I tell you. Look at most pvp servers; they are 1.7.10.

 

1.7 was spamming keys as much as possible.
1.8 was spamming keys as much as possible, but you had to think a little before acting.
1.9 is not spamming keys, and weapon diversity. (basically like any non-minecraft pvp game.)

PvP servers are 1.7 because people aren't willing to adapt to change. Not because PvP somehow got worse.

 

I am not going to argue with you, and definitely not going to agree with you, because then we would both be wrong... If you were a PvPer you would understand.

EDIT: Look up Huahwi on YouTube. One of the best PvPers on Minecraft. Does that look like "no skill, just spamming keys" to you? And you guessed it, he also uses 1.7 after stating 1.8 is "meh"

 

I understand that spamming keys isn't without skill, but 1.9 requires more skill, not less. It's like we're in a backwards world where people think requiring more skill in a player v player environment is somehow bad.

It was in that format because you can't judge it, unless there is a tournament of 1v1s between everyone, which there has NOT been.

 

And Kuke, I still can't respect your mind set here. Think what you want. I could respect it more if you actually did PvP, but as you don't, I will not respect you.

 

I don't pvp? I frequently play SG, just not on ECC. I've played a fair amount of kitpvp (but that got boring pretty quickly).I frequently play the dominate gamemode on mineplex. You act like you know what I do and what I don't do. I do play pvp, I do know pvp, and I do know what I'm talking about. Don't make stupid assumptions.
