Why do you assume the price has to go up? For once someone isn't taking advantage of something and is actually acting like nothing happened.

 

Because in theory that would be the way the market works. A surging demand due to the possibility of donations being more difficult to obtain would lead the supply to dwindle and the cost to therefore increase. Personally, I would like to see that happen as it means I can sell my 10k/USD features.

That's true. But if Billy can sell at 5k/usd and you sell at 10k/usd who do you think will come to him for features? Whomever is buying features would rather save money than spend more (unless they're desperate).
