Hello all, I know in the past trying to get the voting method was difficult for me because it was so time consuming to open up the voting links, and in all honestly I just didn't want to go through the hassle of all of it. But this is an easy solution, it is literally 5 minutes of work and then all you have to do is double click and all the voting links open. I don't know about using ubuntu or linux for this, but it should be similar to the Mac method... Spoiler: On PC Step 1: Go into the search bar, and type in Notepad, and open it Step 2: Type this in, should look like this If you use firefox, type firefox instead of Chrome before the URL Spoiler: Copy and Paste This @Echo off start chrome "http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar1" start chrome "http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar2" start chrome "http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar3" Then save that file, name it whatever you want, I call it Vote. Save it as a .bat and "All Files" When you want to use it, all you have to do is double click the .bat file that you just saved, and all 6 voting sites should open Spoiler: On Mac Open up TextEdit, I recommend using Command+Space to open up search, type in TextEdit, wait for it to come up, then hit Enter When this dialog box comes up, click "New Document" in bottom left corner of the dialog box Either go to "Format" in the top bar, and then click "Make Plain Text", or do Command+Shift+T Type this in, it will default to whatever you set your default browser to (Chrome, Safari, etc..) Spoiler: Copy and Paste This open http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar1 http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar2 http://www.tinyurl.com/eccnstar3 Save it as whatever you want, make sure on desktop for right now. I chose "Vote", but you can call it whatever you want. Open up Terminal, I recommend using Command+Space to open up search, then type in "Terminal", wait for it to come up, then hit Enter. Type in "chmod a+x ", without the quotes. Make sure you put in a space after the x, or else it won't work. After you type this in, drag the .txt file you just created into the terminal. This is what it will look like after you drag the file in. After that, click Enter, and then rename that .txt file you just dragged into the terminal, and get rid of the .txt. Click Enter, that you want to make it without an extension. Then when you double click, or right click and open, it will open all 6 of the voting websites! I would like to thanks @Jacob43365 for initially making the Tutorial for this, which was all on the PC. I basically used his tutorial when I did this on my PC.
Nice...itd probably lock up my janky old pc...I need a way to vote on my janky old tablet personally...cant do capcha for anything on my touch screen
if you do the instructions he posted above for PC, you just double click the .bat file you made, it should launch all the web sites automatically when you click it. If it's a mac, no idea
I use Firefox, and I use this: Code: start "Firefox" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc1 http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc2 http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc3 http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc4 http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc5 http://tinyurl.com/vote4ecc6 I changed Program Files to Program Files (x86) because that is where my Firefox executable is located. (I use the 32bit Firefox for other reasons.) If you use the 64bit Firefox, just rename it back to Program Files. If you place them on a separate lines, it opens them into new windows instead of tabs.
Bump New month about to start, and I updated the voting links since they changed from "vote4ecc#" to "eccnstar#"
