Together, we can make a difference on ECC, to help new and existing players alike. Anyone can take part, either in donations, recieving items, seeking jobs or seeking workers, or even just in spreading the word of these great programs.

Freecycle: This program is defined by our efforts to take old, unused tools and to recycle them to new owners upon request. This is a donation only system, and even someone who has donated at one point can still receive an item as their situation requires.
***Freecycle will allow the sale of donated items for use in an anvil combination for $500 per level of the enchantment. (eg: Unb3 shovel/pick/axe would be a level 3 enchantment and cost $1500.)

Manpower: This program is defined by our efforts to further the job economy. Those seeking work and those seeking workers can come to us and list themselves with our service. There is no charge for this, though there are rules and expectations for bother workers and employers. Please read over everything very carefully. Even if something is allowed by the server we may disallow it in the conduct of those we deal with.

 

How to donate:
1) Items
- Contact any member of the Freecycle Staff while in game to donate, or, PM/mail KMaxwell to arrange a pick-up meeting

Accepted items:
Armor/weapons/tools, excluding bows, of any quality, in any condition, with or without enchantment.
Materials of any kind are accepted. (dirt, stone, netherack, etc)
Items of any kind are accepted. (furnaces, doors, fence, torches, etc)
Food of any kind is accepted. (apples, bread, seeds, etc)

2) Pick-Up & Drop-Off
- Carnitine has a drop-off location that accepts items via donation chests
- Awesomeburg has a pick-up location, catering to the town's residents
- Swagridge has a pick-up location, catering to the town's residents

3) Other Options
- KMaxwell's Spawn Market store, Station #68 on the blue side, has an on-going cookie sale to benefit Freecycle
- Lady_Frost's Spawn Market store, Station #81 on the blue side, is The Garage! Lots of items, stock constantly changing, providing the best recycled materials to the market.

How to list yourself with Manpower as available for work:
1) Fill out the following template:

Job examples: fishing, farming, mining, building, building demolition, land clearing

2) Availability/Expectations
- If you are inactive for 7+ days, without notice, you will be removed from Manpower and must reapply
- If you refuse 2 or more jobs in a row you will be removed from Manpower and must reapply
- Failure to complete 2 or more jobs will result in a removal from Manpower and a temp 30 ban from reapplying
- Griefing or stealing while on the job will result in a permenant removal from Manpower, and potentially other consequences


How to list yourself with Manpower as an employer:

- Once the job as been completed, please notify a member of Manpower staff
- Failure to provide promised materials and/or payment will result in a removal from Manpower and a temp 30 ban from reapplying on the first offense
- Failure to provide promised materials and/or payment on more than one occassion will result in a permenant removal from Manpower, and potentially other consequences

 

Available Items:

To avoid having to list every single solitary item available, I will simply provide a "kit", of which there will be two varieties. Mining/Farming & PvP.

Mining/Farming Kit:
1 diamond shovel (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond pick (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond axe (possibly enchanted)
1 shears
1 diamond hoe (when available)
64 torches

PvP Kit:
1 diamond helm (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond chest (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond legs (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond boots (possibly enchanted)
1 diamond sword (possibly enchanted)
1 bow (possibly enchanted, when available)

To ensure fairness for all I am limiting requests to no more than two kits in total per person. You can get one of each, or two of the same if the first is lost, looted or broken. As I run out of enchanted items I will provide just plain diamond items in their place.

 

Donators & Donation Perks

For those who donate 5+ items I will offer a month of e-repairs.
For those who donate 10+ items I will offer 3 months of e-repairs.
For those who donate 15+ items I will offer 6 months of e-repairs.
For those who donate 20+ items I will offer 6 months of e-repairs and a zombie head (while supplies last).

ECC Freecycle/Manpower's HQ building has finished the first stage of construction. Located in the town of Kaida, north of Maerimydra (portal level 17, red line) and south of Domini (portal level 16, green line). This great iron block structure has been a massive undertaking. We thank everyone who sold their iron to us only just above server price, it has taken a lot to make something this great, but it has all been worth it.

Very shortly the storage facility that will allow us to process received donations and issue them to those requesting them will be built... I will announce when it is complete, and when, as well as what, donations are available to be requested.
