I mean I'm not surprised, it was the same for me when I was 13. I've never even told anyone on ECC exactly where I live (okay that's a lie I told one). But it changes when you get older. I've been to half of Canada's provinces without my parents already, my parents would probably be fine with it, and some day either yours will or you'll just become 18 and they won't have a say :p

I mean I would like to go. I’ve been wanting to take my son to NY, it’s only 5 hours away from me. I just don’t want to say that I will be going and then have to say I can’t go at the last minute. So I’ll just say I can’t go and if I can, it’ll be a nice surprise, lol. It would be nice if me, Mission, and my son can all go together, but I doubt Mission will be able to come back over by then. We’ll just have to see when it gets closer to that time.
