I think that the new color would help their usernames stand out, as they would symbolize who are the true legends on ECC. The color would also provide EcoMasters more incentive to rank up, as many often cite the non-exciting tag as a reason not to rank up. It would also lower the amount of orange that is often in Global chat.

I personally would like just the EcoLegend color to change, but I suppose that's up to everyone to decide. :)

Wow, you put a lot of effort into the colours O_O
I like the concept of the suggestion, but as csm1 said I dislike the colours other than yellow presidents and green EcoLegends.

 

I don't want to be yellow D:

 

5mil for an ugly colour is not worth it. We need a better colour.

Edit : My suggestion is two have a two colour combination (@JamieSinn pls confirm if possible). The one colour scheme(s) that I'm thinking of is :

I like 7am's idea of the dual colors... I also never found it useful to have different colors for mining, nether, sg, aether and that sort of thing... most people are like "i'm in mining. I'm in sg" anyways. Besides with the new hub coming, are we going to have a legitimate 'global' chat of ALL players on ALL servers anyways?

 

Since there is some issue with colors, names, and locations: Change the name colors to be different for each rank, change the brackets around the names for what world you are in. I have no idea if that type of "fine tuning" is possible...

Or, could the chat system add a 3 letter abbreviation for you location? Atr, Ntr, Mng, Lgc, Rsg, SGx, etc? That way the abbreviation could be one color scheme and names could be another... that happen to match sometimes.

...or, we could just wait for the Hub to come out and see how the chat system works then ;)
