Essos Town Rules

Welcome to Essos, new citizen or perm renter!

You've just been accepted into one of ECC's best towns (don't ask around, just trust me).

Here in Essos, we have user-run shops where you can buy and sell anything you may ever need or want. We also have a cocoa farm and a casino which I rent perms to. Coming within the end of the year should be a multi-crop farm to which, I will offer town members a discounted perm price.

Here are a few rules to make sure this town runs smoothly:

TOWN PROPERTY RULES:
1) Absolutely, positively NO GRIEFING. Griefing in Essos simply means breaking a block without replacing it exactly or stealing another person's items. Even if an chest or an item is unlocked, it does not mean that you may break/take it. You may also not build outside of your allotted land. As that is griefing the town The first offense will result in a hefty fine along with reparations paid to the victim. The second offense will result in an eviction with no chance to get your items or break down your house, fine, and paid reparations to the victim. If you do not comply, mods will be involved.

2) You must pay rent on time, or you will be evicted within two weeks. If for whatever reason you can't pay it this week, let me know and we can work it out.

3) If you are inactive for more than two weeks without letting me know, you will be evicted from the town and your locks will be removed.

4) Do not touch the cocoa farm unless you have been given the go-ahead by either me, KTFilms, or zzkfounder. It is viewed in the town as griefing (See Rule 1)

5) Shop owners are king inside their shop. Whatever shop rules they have that do not contradict these rules set forth here or the ECC server rules is law.

6) You may only have up to 3 plots in the town at once (Shop plots not included).

7) You must either lock something on your plot or place your name somewhere near your plot and have a border denoting the space as yours

DISCLAIMER: At any given point, the town may require something to be fixed or changed or added. For matters such as a portal or farm perms, or any additional perks are added, there may be a tax levied onto the citizens of Essos. If there ever is, it will be few and far between

SHOP OWNER RULES:
1) You must place a sign outside of your shop denoting the owner's name

2) You must be active at least once every week or else you will be evicted

3) You may not deny service to anyone regardless of social rank/standing

FARM PERM RULES:
1) You may not break, collect, or sell any cocoa beans you did not place. That is considered griefing and you will be subjected to the penalties outlined in Rule 1 in the Property Owner Rules.

2) You will be subjected to a fine if any damage is done to the farm itself or if any cocoa beans are missing.

3) If another player is using the farm at the same time you are, you may not impose on their space. If they call one wall, you may not plant anything on that wall.

4) You may not hire anyone else to place the beans for you.

CASINO PERM RULES:
1) Do not rig any game or you will be subject to a large fine paid to the Town of Essos and you will be made to pay reparations to the player against who you rigged the game.

2) You must be trained by either KTFilms or mattgdream in the various games.

3) Do not break anything or take anything out of the dispensers
