Exp bottles in sg

    Suggestion:
    The addition of exp bottles to sg
    Reason:
    Yes, sg is 1/4 no kit. Yes, it has been balanced "some what". They would be scattered throughout, making them some what rare. They would give people a chance, especially non kitters, to Hsve maybe a sharp 1 stone sword, which all in all is decent. It would bring a fun new aspect to sg.

    We would have to add lapis and enchantment tables if we wanted to be able to enchant things in SG. Is that what you're getting at?

    Yes. 1 etable, maybe spawn, maybe in a random location at each map

    Yeah, so if we were to add exp bottles, we would also need to add lapis because we're on 1.8.

    I've seen e tables with the lapis in place. I've seen it start in the etable every game, and unable to take it/remove it. But I like the idea of having 1-3 lapis throughout the map, having only a select few having access to it

    We would have to change how sg works entirely as SG doesn't currently affect your exp.

    Ehh, not that much. Just add a sign where you can deposit your exp, like an chest for exp. would also be good for storing exp, similar to the way the bank is good for $. Either that or have 2 separate exp inventorys. Your exp gets cleared to 0 ingame. When you die, your exp will return once in the main world. Not sure if possible though

    We'd have to get that written into SG code though. Not saying it's a bad idea but might be a pain for Dev's to add.

    Not horribly a pain, but yes, it is a bit involved.

    The reason before that it was removed was as said above, there is not barrier to regular sg vs main world xp. Meaning you could walk in with 30 levels, and enchant wahtever you want.,

    While this is an interesting idea, I personally don't think that it is a very practical solution. I do agree that there does need to be some rebalancing between kit and non-kit users, however, this idea could actually increase the problem as likely as it could fix it. There is nothing that could stop a person who uses kits from obtaining exp bottles and lapis and creating an enchanted iron sword, which combined with other kits, would be almost impossible to fight against. Overall, good thinking, but I just don't think that this is the right solution to this continuing issue for this reason and the reasons stated above.

    And add on to this. On another server I've seen players get 1 level of exp from each kill. Would limit campers and make Games more interesting. The etable would be in the direct center of each map

    The amount of effort that would have to go into making this happen could be much better spent on something other than the Survival games.
