Suggestion: Creating a small world in which people have access to every donation feature.
Reason: This would allow users to get first hand experience with features before they decide to purchase them.
Any Other Information: I wouldn't allow any blocks to be taken in or out of this world. If that's not possible, then I'd disable block breaking/placing entirely.

Its a good idea, but also kinda pointless. May as well purchase the feature, helps the server and you
-
I think you're missing the point... this is so you can see how certain features work before you buy them. No point spending money on a feature you don't like when there's so many others. -
My thought on this, is that the world doesn't have to be very big. I think a 200x200 area would be more than enough room to set up plenty. The world could also be like 10 layers thick max, so it shouldn't have too much of an effect on the servers performance.

Maybe a small world where u rent a trial plot for 20 mins and its 10*10 and u can test water, lava, extcreations ect in there. Upon time over ur inventory is wiped
-
This would be something terrific to implement.
There are so many advantages to this, and as of now, I see no disadvantages. Including this and optimizing it to ECC standards would be a good way for many others, including myself to test donation features, see what ones you prefer over others and simply choose what you think would be best suited for you.
This suggestion could also be helpful for other new users whom have joined ECC to get a bit of knowledge about donation features entirely. When I first joined ECC I remember I had no idea what stealth was, etc. Going on the forums might help you understand what it does, but one thing is seeing it, another is doing it.
All in all, this would help all kind of players and setting goals after you see all the incredible donations features might boost non-donators (And even donators) motivation to save up or even straight up buy donation features.
I'd love to see this, +1 -
This would be easily done, the plugins I could think of needing are;
MultiINV
PlotMe (possibly, to have automation)
and the rest we already have :D -

I feel this would be too hard to code. There would have to be away to clear your entire inventory when you enter and leave the world. It would also have to be designed so you couldn't teleport to any outside point or person. Also, if you wanted to test /feed, you can't be able to take any hunger filled with you. With extra commands, the time would have to reset when you leave. Cooking pots also would have to be disabled. And unlimited lwc's. And farms. And mining.
-
I see where you're coming from, however, most of these could be fixed pretty easily.
1. Disable teleportation like in the aether/nether for all users.
2. Disable lwc protections.
3. Time is unique to the world so I don't think that'd be an issue.
4. /feed wouldn't be an issue because it is a convenience command. Going to a different world defeats the purpose of it.
5. Cooking pots shouldn't be an issue if inventories are wiped on entrance/exit.
6. Farms/Mining? This world shouldn't be big enough to support those, but naturally /sell would be disabled, as could be mcMMO. -
How would you test ExtCreations? Pyro? Water? What about sponges? Teleportation? McMMO EXP and skills? SG kits?
If teleportation is disabled to prevent traversing across worlds, you cannot test teleportation.
If you cannot build or change blocks, you cannot test ExtCreations, Pyro, or Water features.
Without mobs and without PVP, without being able to grow trees, without being able to mine... How do you test McMMO EXP multipliers?
Adding an automated plot system is fine and all (for ExtCrtns, Pyro, and Water), but there are many other features (even /feed) that cannot be tested or used without a fair amount of time making custom plugins or tweaking current plugins.
As well, adding another server or map can add a surprising amount of lag... This is especially true when you need to start installing other plugins that would only be used in that one places.
I love the concept, but I don't know how well it would work out in the end. -
