2. What kit are we giving them? Hunter so they can complain when they die to cc or buffer so the cc users start complaining about op non kitters with free kits that devalue their purchase.
3. People with kits would be unhappy and seeing as this doesnt solve a problem I see no reason to make them unhappy.
I dont like kits but this suggestion solves nothing. -

You get free limited access to what people who pay get. You get a taste of that advantage, but you can't use it all the time. If you like it you buy a kit and suddenly you're a kitter too! I seriously don't see how this would make kitters unhappy, all it does is increase the people who play SG. Which is a good thing.
And if you don't like it.. well, nothing changed, those people would never keep playing SG anyway. Worst thing that could happen is a new player buys kits and uses them more often.
So let's recap, scenarios with my suggestion implemented:
- Person who uses free version of kits ends up buying a kit. Good.
- Person who uses free version of kits doesn't like SG and stops playing SG. Nothing changed.

All I see this suggestion doing is angering those who have purchased kits and dont feel like someone should get their kit without paying for it (despite the fact its on a cooldown) which is why I disagree with it.-

+1, I really like this idea although I think this would only be a temporary fix... people would be happy for a while but once they get used to it they would start complaining again a month or so later. It would just go from 'kitters are too OP, they get a bunch of overpowered armor and weapons and we don't' to 'kitters are too OP, we only get to use kits once a day but they get to use kits all the time'.

bump, decreasing the gap between kitters and non-kitters should be top priority.

I joined the server in early May, saw people getting money playing SG, played sg for a couple days and get destroyed by kits nonstop. got frustrated because the kits gave a substantial advantage went mining instead. never went back to SG.
From a newbie perspective, if builders-residents have no chance to win, they wont play. At least this suggestions puts it a step in the right direction. -
