Agreed.

 

Not staff history, but town portal map.. sure.

 

Both seem to be pretty actively updated and on the first page; not sure if a sticky is needed for either.

As well, someone on Staff would have to copy-paste the thread as a new thread to be stickied, or forcefully change the original owner to someone on Staff, and take full control and duty of updating them.

This is only because the current thread owners could go inactive at any point, and having an inactive stickied thread in the future would be kind of pointless. I really hate seeing credit not given to people, so having credit in the thread would be required in my opinion (copyright and general credit stuff always makes me twitch and angry; I hate things being stolen/not given full due credit).

Otherwise, I agree on stickying them... but moreso on the maps one. Not sure Staff history is sticky-worthy, but it would be nice.

 

This sounds pretty noobish, but what exactly does it mean if a post is "sticky" ?

 

They are the posts at the very top, such as the Donation Features/Information/Credits thread in general.
