ok, ok. I'm suffering right now, so apologies in advanced for getting triggered over nothing. I have watched countless videos stating that boys would not last a day being girls. So men, please give me a reason why this is false or completely true. Winner get 1000
No, im asking why it is harder to be a boy compared to a girl (We don't talk about that here) And if your mocking in, God help you.
Men have to propose? I mean, women could too, but just think of the stress that would go along with that.
Boys have to register for the selective service at 17. (In the USA) In sorta-higher education (IB), more girls are accepted into the program than boys. Uh.... men go bald... Women have longer life expectancies than men. The bro code states that all men should be chill. (Which is kinda hard in today's society)
THe one with the legal things-holla Rebuttal: WOman are more likely to get harrased and abused than men But at the same time, why tho?
@lambieplays That's true; I guess I should have thought about what normal people do... If a person, regardless of whether they are male or female, abuses others, then they deserve the punishment.
Yeah, the reddit user was a bit sexist, but the points were good. I think that being a man may be harder because there is less acceptance toward unmanly things. At the same time, it may also be harder to be a woman in this day and age because technology is available to everyone, to drug drinks and stuff. So it more of paranoia of why it's harder to be a woman. Woman are not mediocre or not intelligent- they just don't want to push and kill others dreams to get to the top. Which may be a good or bad thing.
"Women are humanity's control group. The majority are average and unremarkable and lack the capacity to ever be anything other than average." Wow, that's not sexist at all xD I think we're also missing the point though, women have to fit into society's picture of what they should be. If you're unattractive as a male, it doesn't really matter, but an unattractive women is looked down upon. Some spend hours and hours in front of mirrors using makeup and other products so the look perfect because that's what society tells them to. What about the double meanings as well, how can a women be called a slut while a man a playboy? It's expected for a women to grow up, get married, and have kids and they can be ridiculed when they decide against it, but men can become 'bachelors' and get congratulated for dodging the bullet of kids? In modern day society today, I would definitely say it's harder to be a women. However much we like to go around it, there's plenty of sexism in the world where women do not get the same chances and pay as men. @Mission001 I understand that you don't completely agree with the reading, but I found it disgestingly condescending to women.
Both genders have their problems. It's not about who has it worse or better. It's about understanding each other's problems. Anyone who insists their gender has it worse is neglecting the real societal problems that exist for the other side. Women don't have it worse. Men don't have it worse. They just have different problems in different areas. None of them can be shrugged off.
(i sense incoming potatoes) Men have lasted being women, and women have lasted being men, because transgenders exist
