People still paid money for the kits, there are financial consequences in straight up removing them.

 

It could start with a new mining world :p

 

I said expand the world to 8000*8000, not once every 2 weeks ._.

 

Once per week seems like a little too much work for our friend Andrew here, but every two weeks works. The whole world is very ripped up by the middle of the 3rd week. I've noticed my profit is cut down by maybe 25-35% near the end of the month. Andrew please please please reduce the amount of times between resets.

... It does? O,o I found an unexplored ravine/mineshaft on March 27th. IMO the mining and nether worlds don't need to be reset that much. You just need to look a little harder towards the end of the month.

 

I would personally love resets to happen twice a month. Imaginex is right, you can get lucky, but imo it is plain depressing and dispiriting by the 20th and as has been mentioned my profit margins over all have sunk noticeably. By the twentieth I'm usually not mining much or tearing up rising and that's no good.

 

It's decently bad as far as mining goes....but nether is probably impossibly difficult near end of month to find things for ppl without fly+...just realized that o_O

 

Personally, not all the ways of getting money is boring, take building, you can sometimes make more then with star tools and it's not boring, then again you have to be good at it if not then it's not worth it.
I have noticed that prices change tward the end of every month for Quartz prices, it gets higher until the reset, I love getting Quartz cheap and hate buying it at 600$ a stack anyway, when the nether resets the prices go down, taht helps a lot of people, it's eiser to gather and you can buy it cheaper. I like the idea of resetting the nether every 2 weeks, maybe get more events going, everyone seems to love those, I know your super busy with the EULA thing and we all appreciate your work, but a event or two couldn't hurt, it could be fun to take a break from the stress of all of it, take a break enter into a event and have some fun, you'll enjoy it!

+1 for the reset nether every 2 weeks

 

The miningworld is a week past its reset time and i still do just fine there. Might have to switch up where or how your mining if you think its that tore up. Most people mine around y11 or lower but diamonds can be found up to y16. If your running into that many mineshafts move up or down a couple blocks.

if you have multihome, in the nether set homes as you mine out farther away from the spawn point. i still find perfectly clear areas where quartz is visible on ground level there, was mining in nether this morning before switching over to mining world, got about 5 stacks of quartz blocks before going to miningworld to mess around and in both places it didnt take me long to do what i was doing.

Just saying ya know not that hard to find what you need if you actually try it out. I personally like the supply/demand thing that goes on at the end of the month as i make better money then as mentioned by someone here, go mine my quartz and sell it off for good money and still do good in miningworld just /sell all'ing to the server.

 

mining need a re set every 25 days imo 1 time a week would just be a waste of time
