Not sure if this has been suggested, but there needs to be a change. In the Hunger Games you can get Melon Blocks from chests, when you place these Melon Blocks they will stay there forever, and continue to stay there for the next games. Maps are littered with these Melon Blocks and it's quite obnoxious, and has gotten myself, and others killed many times. I think the best idea would be to either remove them completely, (In chests & around the maps) or they all get wiped at the end of a Restart, or even better, after a game. Although they're annoying, they can be used for strategy. I've gotten away from people using Melon Blocks by getting up to places they couldn't normally reach, this makes it fun. But having them littered everywhere after games is just annoying, this is why I believe the latter is the best choice in my above paragraph. Plus, any builder could over a days worth of time, completely Grief an entire map with Melons. Anyways, let me know your guys thoughts on this.
Dang, I didn't know about this and made a pillar of melons in the middle of spawn on the crafting table.
I agree! An even better idea would be to allow you to break them! That could be a game changer, give you some vital food, and end the litter
I would be fine if a delay was positioned in between games to give the server time to auto reset each map. I wouldn't think it would take more than a minute for each map after a game is finished. Although what I said would be nice, I'm not even sure this is entirely possible. Though if it is, that is the way I would like to see the maps fixed.
What if instead of having to wait a minute or two for the maps to reset between each games what if the maps reset every 3-7 days?
That will need the server to restart! So it can be automaticly whenever the server restarts! But it will be hard to reset the map! I mean how you will do it?
Either way, something needs to be done. Over a span of a week, I could cover up every chest on a map completely.
I prefer the maps to be reset each 7 days! Its not only the melons! There is holes that gets you out of the map and much more that need to be fixed
