Minecraft Name: minecraftninja05 Suggestion: Enabling hoppers. It would be made so that any user that wants a hopper in their town apply for it, assuming they are the owner. There could only be 1-4 hoppers per town, the primary town owner must apply (no co-owners), and it would cost 40k, similar to heal sign apps. Making hoppers this regulated and making them coast this much per hopper would definitely keep hoppers from being abused. and enabling them, even on a scale as small as 1-4 per town, would open doors wide for businesses such as farms and casinos. And if you were to use hoppers for, say, cocoa semi-auto farming, it's still not free money because you have to go through the trouble of placing all of that cocoa again. It's just a lot easier now that you don't have to go hunting for every bit of cocoa in the farm, it all goes conveniently into your hoppers. And in casinos, adding hoppers allows for new, more creative/fun games to be made, which would really help expand the gambling business altogether. Reason: Since hoppers can't be abused if you can only have a certain number per town, and you'd have to apply for them to be placed, which would limit all and any lag they cause, which no one could tell me if it was the reason they were removed. Other Information: The application would look similar to this: IGN: Are you the Owner of the town you are applying for the hopper to be placed in? (Town app) Do You Have the required Funds for These Hoppers? (40k Per Hopper) What are the Coordinates to the Designated Location for This Hopper: X: Y: Z: Link to this plugin: N/A Side note: I talked to most of the staff on, none could tell me why they were removed, they didn't know. I'm assuming lag, but this wouldn't cause nearly any lag at all with it costing 40k, and you unable to have as many as you want in a defined location.
Nothing at all. He told me to post this, we came up with the idea together. Really not sure why he posted 1
No. So much no. These things have the potential to dupe. So, so much. They also cause serious risks to player safety, as they can force insert into LWC locked chests as well as take from them
^ Mojang sometimes fixes a hopper dupe, creating at least one new in the process... I know of 3 hopper dupes in the current version. ^ Would probably require LWC to check EVERY block around it every tick, then blocking possible vanilla interactions... unless there is an easier way, this would be like cookpot lag - only in much greater amounts due to the amount of LWC in Legacy and Rising. :3 So... jamie already stated my favourite 2 points about why I hate every suggestion that wants to re-enable hoppers. (Similar to sticky pistons because of duplication machines)
