I got a new laptop recently and yes, it is an alienware, but no, it isnt over priced... I bought the new Alienware 17 for $1,900 and all of the parts cost around $1,850 seperately so I feel that i got a good deal. But i was messing around with my settings and came out with a maximum FPS of.... just look at it in the picture below, im sure you will be awestruck by what you see... You did read that right, my FPS is 1149... I dont see the point of having my FPS be so high but why not right???? This was taken while on the ECC server and minimal settings. This is on a single player superflat facing straight into the sky at minimal settings. But still.. it is 1782 FPS o.o But this thread is to mainly see how your computers stack up! And if you want, you can post your computers hardware for other people to comment on what you have, and potentially get ideas on how to make your computers better! P.S. I'm sure Netsui will appreciate this thread.
i average 40-50 fps with good settings i can get a high of 80fps with the best settings i don't have optifine
I got my laptop a month ago and when I was taking screenshots for this thread it was higher than ever before. This screenshot is on Ecc. This is in single player creative. I went to Maximum Performance and Max Fps and put low settings with the default texture pack. I usually go on power saver for 35 fps because I don't need 1000 fps By the way, this laptop is half the cost of yours (Lenovo ideapad y500)
Well on a pc that cost A LOT less than $1000 I got this... It just shows you that Alienware are rather overpriced...
Question to all the 1000+ fps people! What is that hardware on the pc? and a link to the computer to confirm. (Do you have a GTX TITAN?) I average a 350 fps on a default world and higher in SG, spawn shop 150, recording with FRAPS is default 100 (planning on bumping it up to 150). This is default without the overclock, i dont overclock because my cpu is always hot, and my gpu is running on a 6-year-old SANYO tv and ideling at 50 C when playing any game.
My Computer Is A Windows XP But It Is Actully Not Bad I Get Near 50 Fps Or Higher On ECC In SG I Get At Lest 7o.
You kids and your expensive computers. I get about 400 FPS, but I lock it at 35 because there isn't really a difference between 100 or 1000. It's just something to bag about.
your GPU is running on an 6 year old TV.. So you're prob 720p resolution or 1280 x 720. Like was posted above anything above 60fps is nonsense. It goes back to mine is bigger than yours... well who cares. If I stare at the sky or the floor the FPS are going to jump that is not a good measure of the performance of your GPU.. Do a benchmark like Heaven if you really want to measure things. http://unigine.com/products/heaven/ and lets see where the chips fall.
Here is the yard stick... If you want show it off. http://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threa...d-baddest-for-those-that-feel-the-need.63401/
Yes, my cpu fan is always loud, i always think that i need a better cooler. i have been thinking to get a new one. this one i found a i want. 144Hz refresh rate. and it has other features. and firebone always says that he get 500,000fps while playing ecc and saying which computer is better. i truely have the better cpu, gpu, hard drive space, and os (i dont think that matters) I do also 3DMARK, i use it but i got it uninstalled for sompe reason. brothers... This is a laptop, and the cpu is not even overclocked. is it loud and hot?
Yeah 500K FPS bull ----. Look just run the Heavens benchmark I have posted using the Extreme Preset and post a screen shot.. That's all. 3d Mark and the like are too large a program for everyone to D/L Heavens is small and easy. So I guess my pc sucks...
Nope we have nvidia gtx 660+ 300$ and up cards i have a 780 evga superclocked and get 4000 fps on low settings
