Thanks for this tutorial :D it should be a sticky so all newbies can find it easily. I am new to the server and have only had experience with servers that have had an auction plugin so this is all very new to me.

What the tutorial is missing though - in my humble opinion - is how to finalise the deal. How and where does the exchange happen if there's no plugin? I'm too scared to use the auction as I don't know how the last step works. Yes I am a bit of a wuss :nailbiting: but I don't want to risk losing money as I'm broke enough already :panda: lol

Please can someone explain how the last bit works once the auctioning bit has finished.

 

Thank you for replying. When you say the deal takes place do you mean the buyer does /pay.. and then the sellers drops the item? Or can they place a chest at spawn to pass it over? That's the bit I'm unsure of

 

I highly recommend trying to find a place to meet where the trade can be made thru a chest. Unfortunately, ECC does not offer a way to do that at spawn.

Hmm..Doesn't sound very reliable lol I'm surprised ECC hasn't thought to provide an auction room with chests somewhere if they choose not to use plugins. *hint* lol
