    I'm a resident have a plot with a house in some town but I wanted to apply for Mayor and have my own town, but how do I claim land? I read application says something about putting signs on corners... Do I do it just before application do I find a spot in the same world where my current city is.....?Any help on this would be great . thanks

    Find a square and post signs in the corners then post app
    Also read the wiki it's really useful

    Ok thanks I read about signs but I wasn't sure if I can do it now or it needs to be done just before I decide to apply for mayor. Got it now :) to be done just before the application.

    OK, but these signs alone are not going to do anything as far as protection, so anyone can just remove them...? guessing here and i cant get it actually protected (claimed as mine) until I submit Mayor application... right?

    You can only claim land if the owner of the town has been offline for 6 months and you have to be at least the rank of Tycoon
