What makes a fishing table a good way to catch fish?

 

It makes it 10x easier to tell when you have a fish biting! :}

when i try fishing tables the bobber/hook goes thru the water and onto the ground.

 

It takes the right distance from the table, angle, and height of your cast to get it just right. Because of this I found myself wasting time trying to get my cast just right right, more than I did actual fishing.

The bobber falling to the ground to show you have a fish is very hand, but again time wasted trying to get the cast right was time not spent fishing or waiting for a fish.

I've gone back to regular lake fishing.

What I do is set a home where I want to cast the line from, go to my home to position myself right, then change my angle until it goes onto the table 99% of the time. Upon getting it just right, I set my home again to save the direction I was looking and I'm able to just warp back whenever needed instead of adjusting myself. I also change my right click button to o so that I don't accidentally move my mouse when pulling a fish in. I'm never going back to lake fishing. :p

 

Anyone have an estimate on $/hour with fishing this way?

I fished for about hr and a half, I got about $2550, but I wasn't fishing the whole entire time, I was half screwing around with friends. I'd say in an hour, you could get $2500. My estimate, anyone feel free to disagree
