It takes 16 books of efficiency 1 to get efficiency 5, though

 

You forgot to add that you may also get fire pro, proj pro, etc. that can reduce the chanc
es of getting the others. Also as noted above, I have used this to create eff5 with only 30 lvls of xp regularly. I was just keeping it to myself. Oh well enchanted book nerf incomming! Great job Tran :/

What is the most efficient way to store XP in a sign? This would be for personal use only, not for sale.

I think you have multiple signs, I was wondering what you have in terms of how much XP each one costs and how many you have.
