Yep title says it all. I was tired of firefox crashing on me all the time. So now for the google chrome to be my new default browser! Just though of letting you google chrome users know :3
I use firefox on my better computers as it is more versatile, but I use chrome on my craptop as it is a smaller Process and can be better handled by the computer.
Until you start opening more than 5 tabs and/or install multiple plugins, then everything is eating away at your ram like mad. What is this, I don't even.. are you comparing a search engine to a browser? And to those saying FireFox frequently crashes, what kind of plugins did you add? what things did you do? I can load thousands if images in firefox without it even flinching, it crashed once in the 4 months I've been using it.
I see people talk about FireFox crashing on them, being slow and crappy, etc., but I rarely have issues...? I don't understand. What am I doing that everyone else is not? >> FireFox <3 May use a lot of memory and sometimes CPU, but generally I only get crashes or freezes if I have a heavy-duty program running alongside. Chrome is nice, but I find it laggier than FireFox. :/ Also not as customizable... Though, I do download it before FireFox, simply because it just..goes. Vroom vroom, simple. And I get it for computer-illiterate family members. xP
