This was hard as you can tell... but I would have to go with the German Shepherd mug I got when I had my old dog. I've only ever owned German Shepherds and my last one was seriously my best friend before he passed away.

 

No doubt my favorite Christmas mug of all time. We got it during White Elephant (joke gift) but it's so pretty and pleasing to the eye that I prefer it over our other holiday themed mugs.

This is now a finished version of an eagle. This was carved from a real Moose antler and I got it when I visited Jordan Ontario, Canada about two years ago. I am a big animal lover, so this souvenir is undeniably my favorite. It also has special meaning behind it. As you can see the perforated holes on the now eagle sculpture, these are the symbols of the Indian Tribe, the Iroquois! I am a big history nut and love knickknacks like this that combines my love of animals with my passion for history and ultimately heightens my cultural awareness. If you would like to read more about it, here is also a short description in regard to the meaning of the eagle to Iroquois Tribe. This was also my first trip to Canada and I had a great time!

I like to collect "pressed pennies" from different places we go. These are mostly from 20 years ago on different school trips we would take. The fish penny close to my name that is from spending a night with 500+ other students from dozens of different schools in a museum overnight. Imagine 500+ sleeping bags littering the floors...it was awesome! There are some duplicates because I've been to places more than once! I have probably 10-15 more from my adult life that I can't seem to find around here, because I know I should have at least 5 from Myrtle Beach alone...time to go irl hunting :laugh::laugh::laugh:
