I feel that there should be a command where you can do /info [players name]. The command should bring you to the players ecocitycraft's home page. This command would be useful for forum messaging the player and also to see their donation features and ranking. I think this command would also be useful to see their last forum online time. kutless228 That sounds kinda cool, but you could just search their name on fourms and do it. i would use it
-1, We could do these simple steps: Step 1: Go to www.ecocitycraft.com Step 2: Go to the search bar. Step 3: Type in a players name Step 4: Click on their avatar. I understand some are too lazy to do so, but we have a simple search bar to use instead of a command.
kutless, you seem to misunderstand what goes into making plugins, I have done many plugins, so I am very aware. The largest issue with this is the numeric ordering of the player, Have you ever noticed the numbers after your name like http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/members/jamiesinn.610/ The "610" is how early you joined the forums, in my case, i was the 610th person. Now try doing http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/members/jamiesinn Wont work, because of how the forum indexes users, it is impossible to call up every single user in the entire forum database, 18,902 users in all at the time of posting this. Especially when the number changes so often and rapidly. So, lets say we could make a plugin that would access the xenforo database directly, the insecurity of that is horrible. Im not saying this plugin is impossible, just absoloutly an overkill of work, the amount a dev would work on this is overkill for just one command. Sorry if this seems harsh, but there is absoloutly no need for this complex of a command just to save 30 seconds of searching.
Like Jamie has already said, the amount of problems with the suggested command is just too much. It won't happen. Just take like 30 seconds of your time to search a user on the forums.
It's not, your suggestion is a lot of stuff that's not possible or unnecessary and one of the things you wanted happened to be an idea that's been floating around for over a year now. Aka, the /mydonations command
