Is it allowed to circumvent limits on wager size by having someone else place it for you?

Let's say I have $2,000,000 ECD to bet with.

I want to bet on something with that $2m, but I am limited to betting $1m.

So I bet $1m on it, then I give another $1m to a friend, who bets on it on my behalf, and sends screenshots of his bank transaction history to show they definitely bet on it.

If I win, the friend returns my $1m plus winnings, and in return, I pay them $50k for their services. All of this is backed with a contract.

    Is this allowed?

There is currently no rule against this to my knowledge. You should PM a staff member about it though.

Would I be allowed to tag one in this thread to comment?

Tag a few moderators if you would like.

I am bad with forum sections. We shall await a mod to move it.

I apologize, as the thread is visibly pretty old, but if the user whom the better entrusted his money to bet with were to scam to the better, would something like that be enforced?

I'd honestly doubt it. If lotto teams aren't enforced, neither should sportsbook.

I disagree. Lotto teams depend on so many circumstances while a contract like this could be easily enforced. Player A sets up an agreement with player B giving player B 1mil to bet with on a set specific game that has a set specific winner which will be decided. This is easily enforceable as moderators could just look t that specific sports book event and see proof of the two players agreeing and the 1 million dollar transaction and bet, which is accessible easily via screenshots, contract agreement and sportbook event wagers.

It is situational. Lottery teams can be enforced, but only if the terms are set through a contract and said contract is approved by a stafforator.

    Staff doesn't do those contracts.
As for United, I do like the idea of this. I'm just not sure if staff would support it.

So, any ruling if they're going to be enforced or not? ;p

I assume you mean friends not paying you. If there is a contract I'm sure you can discuss with staff regarding scamming and file a complaint.
