Brief Description:
My four excavation jobs have always been almost equal in terms of XP level before getting a full set of T4 excavator armor, with the higher ranking ones having a slightly natural lead compared to the next one down. Since getting T4 excavator armor, my Professional Excavator job skyrocketed while the other two stayed around the same level to each other.
While there are more items for XP in Professional Excavator, I know for a fact that I haven't destroyed any of them; all I've been doing is clearing grass/dirt blocks for a town, which is why I am lead to believe that the T4 excavator armor is only working on Professional Excavator, or at the very least, working on whatever tier of the Excavator Job is the higher ranked one.
In the screenshot below, you can see that Professional Excavator gained more XP compared to the other jobs when all I mined was dirt/grass
Instructions:
Join all the Excavator jobs, but on some T4 Excavator armor, mine dirt & grass like hell to rank them up to see Professional is gaining more XP than the other ones
How many times did you recreate this?:
Just noticed once
Result:
Professional Excavator is skyrocketing, the others are not
Expected Result:
The Jobs Apparel should be boosting the XP (and other benefits) by X amount for ALL of the Excavator jobs
Evidence:
Note how close Novice, Apprentice, and Initiate are. Professional was close too, just slightly higher than Initiate. Now it is 25k+ more XP higher and states that it went up by +46.8 when the others only went up +41.6. Could be because that bar was visually seen 5th (after the MCMMO bar went away, so it got one more update), but the fact that my Professional is so much higher for really no reason is still strange

Update is posted below

Just posting a small update as I got them all the same level for a better comparision. This is my current Excavator job levels. All I broke between when I posted this bug report and now, that gives jobs XP, was dirt and grass (flattening many towns). I also broke a lot of sand and gravel, but they don't give anything.
The Professional Excavator bar seems even longer than the other ones compared to when I first made this bug report, so something does seem to be up. I promise I didn't break any of the extremely few blocks that would just be in Professional Excavator (and none of the others)
Also note the + values to the right: all but Professional are +187.19, and Professional is +223.59
Also, doing the math, it seems to confirm that the different between professional (the bar in question) and initiate (the next highest bar) has increased, which suggests that somehow the professional job is receiving either a bigger boost, or the only boost with jobs apparel. When I first posted this bug report, the first screenshot had Professional ahead by +25,969.60 XP points when compared to the next highest (Initiate). In this recent screenshot, Professional is ahead by +101,848.80 xp after two weeks of only dirt/grass excavation, and going up 9-10 levels for each job. The spread between my Initiate and Professional increased by a margin of +75,879.20 by JUST destroying grass and dirt blocks, which shouldn't be happening & should have all four bars increase at the same rate. -

This is not an issue with any configuration on our end. Jobs Apparel is setup up correctly, Jobs exp/income curves are set up correctly.
Upon further testing today I discovered that this issue is not just affecting Professional jobs - it is affecting the last joined job of the stacked ones.
If I join NoviceMiner after I join ProfessionalMiner this exp-gain discrepancy is also present on the NoviceMiner job.
Anyway, I believe its related to this issue: https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/thre...t-be-properly-awarding-ecd-exp-points.226233/
I will simply update my existing bug report with the Dev to include this new information.
