Sun, Surf and Suffocation​

This is a new city and is located near Crezarius's Awesometopia which is a bustling metropolis on the southern borders. This city has yet to gain its own dedicated portal. However the neighboring city of Awesometopia's portal is located on level 17 and a short walk due right upon exiting the portal will lead you into Kharilthras.

Currently this thread is still fermenting and growing. The city is partly completed but there is much work to be done overall.

This city is not a flat city, it is a city of many sloping faces. Also this city focuses more on the use of sandstone, wood and glass than on purely stone structures. Alternate materials like wool are also encouraged in the desert oasis area.... maybe not ice though.

The city also has a district like no other, building here is not for the faint hearted or inexperienced. Kharilthras features a sunken district. Simply put, clearing away water tiles on the outside of your building is prohibited. Building large amounts of your building breaching the surface is frowned upon (modest spires and the like are allowed, must be like an iceberg 9/10's below the sea-line. Another rule is no boxes, be a little creative, sunken cottages and things with tiled roofs are allowed, sort of amusing to find one sunk on the bottom of the sea. Flat and uninspired squares are not, think deep sea, ..... think rapture.

Construction Rules

Basically if when I do release land;
-No pure dirt/cobble/netherrack eyesores
-Try to fit the theme for the area
-No farms, heaps of farms on this server, don't really feel like having heaps of farms in my city. Ill create some if needed and not charge to give perms.

Rules in General

-Basically the ECC rules and (No need to troll this point) if you flipped the situation and found you would be upset if it happened to you, don't do it.

-Also be courteous, you used a farm replace what you took, mend what you break. The basic honor system really.

-Build With-in your allocated area, do no modify the area around without permission.
*Minor breaches of the boundary rule are excused, note minor and aesthetically pleasing breaches are allowed.

-No big farms, If you a desperate for a big farm mail me, you can build the city a shared farm if you need one.
-You are allowed to build as high as you want in most areas and as deep in most.
*The height rule is over-ruled in the sunken precinct.
**The depth rule is over-ruled where there are tunnels found below the plot.

-Time lapse clause, if you are inactive for over 7 days I have the right to post an eviction notice on your house. During this time you have the option to return and appeal this within a 4 day period. After this I have the right to re-sell the land with no refund.
*You may apply for long inactive periods by /mail trevalynfar and by placing a sign near the
front door of your house.

-One final clause that should not need saying but I will post anyway, theft and grief. Anything within a persons lot as sold to them belongs to them. Save for items which you drop then there is a 10 second rule. Anything on their lot even if the chest is unlocked and you take it with out permission will be considered grief. Also regular, breaking and stealing grief is included in this definition. If found guilty I reserve the right to evict on the spot and file a complaint if it is merited.
*Minor cases will be dealt with some leniency providing they aren't repeated.

I will not accept the reason you were unable to mail me, or that you did not know these rules existed. I reserve the right to eject unruly tenants without refund if there are excessive breaches of these terms effective from today.
