Existing Perks/Features​

Huge (100x100x4) public crop/tree farm. Inter-town portal network. E-Reps often available on request. Free water placement. Smelting services. Donation Chests. A warp to the central square. The scariest trampoline on ECC. A gigantic Maze with no finish line yet. A train line which gives a tour of the six most built-up towns.

Pre-Built Living Options​

No plots available, but you'd like to move in anyway? We have pre-builts left over from previous players, and we have condo skyscrapers built by a couple of our more talented residents. Contact one of the co-mayors to inquire.

Lancaster Mall​

Located immediately northeast of the warp, the Lancaster Mall offers player-owned stores stocking a wide variety of merchandise and charging LESS than spawnshop prices. Great for residents and visitors to town alike. The Mall is presently being redeveloped. Once, it was the most active player-owned shopping center on ECC.

Lancaster, Southcaster, Westcaster and Aberdeen:

10 x 10: $1,500
10x15: $2,000
10 x 20 = $2,500
15 x 15 = $3,000
20 x 20 = $5,000
30 x 30 = $10,000
40 x 40 = $20,000​

Eastcaster is @jmichael214's personal home town, and neither plots or perms in Eastcaster are for sale.

Plot prices are non-negotiable and must be paid in ECD up-front before you will be added. We don't do payment plans, sorry.

Rules​

The following rules are in effect in the following towns, all owned by @jmichael214: Lancaster, Southcaster, Eastcaster, Westcaster, Culvercity, Aberdeen, Fogden, Inverness and Morecambe. While this city is often referred to here just as "Lancaster," the rules apply equally in all of the towns.

1. All server rules are in effect in all Lancaster towns. This includes basic rules about language and general standards of behavior.
2. No trolling. If you genuinely don't know what "trolling" means, look it up now. Spamming the local chat channel is trolling.
3. No harassment of the mayors. Please remember that town owners/officers are not your employees.
4. No griefing. This includes altering or destroying public buildings and roads, as well as all the other destructive behaviors already prohibited by the server. Placing LWCs or breaking or placing ANY blocks without permission outside your plot is also griefing.
5. No stealing from other town residents, regardless of whether their belongings are in locked chests.
6. Do not build anywhere outside the stone brick plot outlines. They are not part of your plot, so don't build where they are, and do not remove them. They are how we keep track of land ownership.
7. Do not obscure access to or visibility of the locked sign on one one corner of your plot, or in the lobby of your condo building. It is the only written record of your property ownership.
8. The public farm is a shared resource, and MUST be replanted after every harvest. Failure or "forgetting" to replant counts as griefing.
9. If you are inactive for more than 14 days, your plot may be cleared and resold at any time. The town is simply too big to keep track of inactive players any more. Sorry!
10. Maximum building height is 50 and you may go down by 15 blocks. No mining under the town. Calculate your height limit from the ground level of your plot.
11. No ugly builds. Please don't build your house entirely out of dirt, cobblestone or other muck, and no giant windowless boxes.
12. Shops may only be built in the town of Lancaster itself, and only inside the Mall or the Builder Building. Any other trade signs will be removed, aside from personal money or XP storage signs.
13. Secure your belongings inside your house. Learn to use LWC commands. The town is not responsible for things you lose otherwise.
14. Behave!​

ATTENTION GRIEFERS!​

Don't buy a home here. The town is super-active, and griefers always get caught because someone always notices before the logs are cleared. And we don't mess around -- straight to a formal grief report and if the server bans you, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Our position on griefing is that it is a Minecraft player's way of saying "I bring nothing to the table." If that's your thing, you'll be happier and you'll last longer living somewhere else.

Mayors, please check out the Rules for co-Mayors at your convenience, located at the new Main Office in City Hall. /warp lancaster, head to the portals and up one floor (lift sign by the portals). I intend 100 percent of what you make income-wise to remain yours, except whatever you may choose to donate from any sale -- and I refuse to accept more than 20 percent of any sale. For now, we are only reopening Lancaster and Southcaster. Depending on demand, Westcaster (due west of Lancaster), Aberdeen (due south of Westcaster) and Eastcaster (due east of Lancaster) may be reopened soon. If you would like to work specifically on a particular town, let me know. For now, you are all co-Mayors of Lancaster, except for @Israellawson, who requested Southcaster.

Also, you will all be made Mayors of "Culvercity," the Lancaster town farm, which is located through a portal in City Hall (and is in Legacy). When the original town farm, in the town, started producing too much lag, we bought Culvercity and moved the farm there. Every single property owner in Lancaster or any Lancaster town also gets free membership in the farm, which is why it has like a million members already.

I did like a million LWC requests this week, so a lot of the deadwood is cleared.

Just have fun, guys. I have no goals for this, just a desire to open the place back up because others enjoy it. You have fun, too.
