Reason: Being limited to 5x4 and 5x5 is stopping my current build project and I'm sure ECC players would like the customizing options of different sized portals. Any Other Information: I don't think portals should be able to made past a size of 10x10. And I also think a reasonable pricing for those larger portals would be that you multiply your height and width dimensions and you'd get a number. Then each of those blocks is worth 4k, but that would only be applicable to portals above 4x5. For example, my project requires 6Hx5W portals so they would cost 120k each because 6x5 is 30, multiplied by 4k. So, 30x4= 120,000. Although, If the max size was 10Hx10W then it would cost 400k per portal so I think it should cap at 200k ECD. I think this would be cool. And would be be restricted to just normal, square portals? Or portals similar to spawn? I would like to add a little bit more customization to the area I keep my portals.
I wasn't sure, of course I always love to have ultimate customability but I wouldn't know how to price those and didn't add them into the suggestion. But I'd also like that as well.

I wouldn't see why not, but it could also be used to take money out of the economy. Maybe an extra 5k for every block expanded to the right/left or up/down to keep money out of the economy. Just a slight tweak.
I'd just say any sized portal, just an extra fee if over the basic size like we do currently. Enough to incentiveize but not enough to deter.

I would increase the price a bit more, maybe... I know portals can cause immense lag, but I am not sure how exactly that lag is caused. Assuming size alone can cause more lag - and if it gets exponentially worse as the size goes up - price would probably be more. Otherwise, I would love for custom sizes and shapes of portals.
+1 definite up vote on this thread! Custom portals are a great idea! It would definitely be more expensive. I think it's more likely that it is added as a purchasable donation feature. Regardless of the method, I agree!
I love this idea, but with Stargate all portal layouts are within files, and if there gets too many files (gates) that could cause lag probably. But anyways! +1
