It's allowed. There are some tutorial's on some scripts, that do similar things as shown in the screenshot, lurking somewhere on the forums. If you search thoroughly enough, I'm sure you'll find them. Depending on my work load, I'll have a tutorial up for installing and setting up a few basic macro scripts on mac, as a few users have asked me for help doing so on mac osx.

He did? Isn't that cheating.... a18 got 1700 levels legit hard work, and then clown prince here just buys the levels and gets a 100 coupon... For real?

 

It'd be a little strange is the staff punished someone for throwing money at the server wouldn't it?

 

Still extremely frustrating to those of us who actually spent days on end trying to get these coupons.

 

I know the feeling, you're not the only one who has actively pursued McMMo in a competitive-ish manner. However it is something that was an option right off the bat, although not explicitly stated. and you can enjoy the fact that he's net negative depending on how many levels he bought.

 

Well his last herbalism stat on the mctop thread on the 5th of this month was about 1100ish I believe.

 

The only possible way for the user to get this high is either playing 14 hours a day (non-stop reed farming), or buying the levels. I have grinded out farming since 2000 was available and that fast of levelling up is quite impossible unless 2 people played on the same account with day/night shifts.

 

Not impossible, just not easy. At one point I was averaging 17-18 hours a day of mining. Someone putting the same effort into farming could easily get from 1k-2k in a month.

I think buying levels is kinda messed up too. Especially at the much higher levels as you save so much time compared to buying them at the lower levels because xp increases exponentially.

I also never got my $100 coupon for mining so I wouldn't worry about it :p

 

You are right that I bought some levels, but I was also smart about how I levelled, namely by utilising mcmmo parties to get that sweet xp boost.
