I have been having this too, you have to completely exit out of MC and then go back in and it will work. At least that has worked for me.

I usually count to 10 and then login and it works.

Happens to me as well. Just wait a minute and connect.

 

The "Connection Throttled" message is usually shown when you try to connect to the server too quickly after logging off or after opening your server list. Try waiting 5 seconds once you see ECC show up on your server list before trying to connect.

 

Hmm... I'll look into possible causes for this and see if there is anything we/you can do to fix it.

 

Have you tried using the direct connect button? Same result?

 

@frenchhornplayer, Whenever I am having connection problems I usually just use 72.20.46.17. It is an alternate ip address for ECC and usually solves whatever problem i am having.
Give it a shot, if it works for you awesome.

 

Connection throttled has happened to me a lot. Usually when my computer has a bad connection to my wifi, this also happens when i used my phone as a hotspot and i had a bad cell signal. If you're using a laptop try moving closer to your router, at least to connect. See if that helps!
