Los Angeles' Aon Center Under Construction

A new real life tower scaled down for ECC has risen in Downtown Bertigstadt! I took the block that @Avaina1918 removed the Ironwood Tower from and am building a 1/3 scale model of Los Angeles' Aon Center in its place! It's "topped out", skyscraper lingo for it won't rise any higher. I noticed I need to rearrange the top 5 floors after I finished building them... luckily this isn't my 9 stack/ floor Sears Tower, so that shouldn't be too difficult. Note the tower crane on the roof, I built it for this screen shot since its unfinished, made it look real If you look in my more recent pics of the Sears Tower, you'll see the same crane lower in that area of the pictures. Avaina left the block as an excavated hole with foundations, he was going to build a new complex there but didn't have the time for Bertigstadt and his own towns. The block sat like that for about six weeks, so I added the tower crane to make it look like something was going on while I figured out what to do with it. I settled on Aon Center, for its simplicity and elegance. Its quartz and coal block façade complement the Sears Tower nicely!

Thanks Avaina! I need to get someone to put lift signs in it when I figure out where I want them. I finished the body of the building today, put 4 sea lanterns in the top corners of the building for night effects and put a helipad on the roof! The helipad idea came to me as I was putting the roof in. It has 4 redstone torches for landing markers. I added a pic from the Sears Tower skybox. Total build cost ~$10,000 ECD

Thanks @Phantomine! What do you have in mind? I can probably build anything for the right price. I'm an expert on pretty much anything realistic. Power plants, skyscrapers, etc. Visit Bertigstadt in Rising or pm me if you want to see more examples of my work!

 

@Phantomine It does, it's in the Rising Towns portal. 5th floor, on the Lapis Blue ring to the right of Viviville, Bertigstadt. (German for Bertig City btw) enjoy!

 

@Phantomine The town to the south of Bertigstadt (follow Main Street straight out) is mine as well. It's not nearly as built up as Bertigstadt but it has a few structures that may interest you.
