MacBook Air or Pro and also how to earn $$

Macs are amazing for editting. If you want to game, go with PC. I would personally go with a Pro.

 

Try mowing lawns. There isn't really a good way to make money at your age as you cannot hire people at 14.

Mowing lawns is definitely a good thing to do at your age, not sure how it is in New York, but here in Michigan I believe you can start bagging at grocery stores at either 15 or 16 years old.

 

get a lemonade stand, but get grapes cuz ducks will ask for them....

Indeed, if you try to use a mac for gaming, you are only going to be playing facebook games.

 

I would say, for $2000 get a very powerful laptop, for instance, you can buy a 14" alienware, at a decent specs for 1800-2000$

yeah, here you can get a job at 14, but bagging is i think 16. Some places such as party stores may need someone for hire, so just go look around

 

There are other ways of making money, Do some work on the internet, there are many ways, just send the money to your mom's PayPal account.

 

As for a macbook for gaming....Just don't waste your money, honestly it's not worth it, scroll up and read what jamiesinn said

 

Don't buy alienware either, it is just as overpriced :l

 

i personally use a mac and love it although it may not be the best for gaming it works well, i also use it for video editing and as ryan said its very good

 

Yea, they are amazing, BUT, they are not worth the amount of money, my pc was less than the mid range mac, and my PC is high end, it is able to play every single game I've threw at it at ultra settings, (except GTA 4). Anyways it's up to you, like others have said, Macs are great, but not good for gaming and the specs don't warrant it's price tag.
