Before getting into how to magma mine right, here is what you'll need Spoiler: Tools/Features: Eff 5, Unbrk 3, Fort 3 diamond pick Diamond Sword and Armor (Just in case you run into anyone in the nether) Nether access Pyro+ (So you don't die from lava) ExtCommands+ (Hassle free pick repair b/c the pick wears out fast) Multihome (Allows you to set a home in nether so you can easily travel to market and back) ExtCreations+ (Optional - for smelting nether rack to double its value) Feed (Optional - allows you to not worry about food when mining) Spoiler: Steps for mining: 1. Warp to the nether 2. Run outside the no break zone and stay close to lava pools as that is where magma is generated 3. Along the way pick up any quartz you may find - DO NOT run to get quartz far inland, its not worth the time 4. Once you come along a magma chunk, hastily mine it, don't worry about extra pieces of magma here or there 5. When mining the magma keep your eyes out on the nether rack surrounding the magma chunk for any quartz 6. If you see any quartz make sure to mine it 7. If you are now in a hole with no quartz or magma chunks around you, create a stairway as fast as possible back to ground level and go back to the second step Spoiler: Steps for selling: 1. Make sure to have a almost full inventory 2. If you have extcreations+ start with /smeltall to turn netherrack into netherbrick 3. Do /sell magma and /sell nbrick or /sell nrack 4. Turn quartz into blocks and don't sell them with /sell 5. Repeat steps 1-4 until you have around 3-5 stacks of quartz blocks in your inventory 5. Set a home where you are in the nether and warp to market to sell quartz blocks 6. Sell you quartz blocks there and then go back to your home in the nether and keep mining Spoiler: Quartz Shops Station 65 - $15 per block Station 17 - $15 per block Super Duper Mart (/warp Hobo_land) - $18 per block, Quartz Pieces 4 for 8$ If you guys knows places that buy quartz blocks for a good price just put the name and warp of the shop below and I'll add it Thanks for reading this tutorial!
The Super Duper Mart located at /warp Hobo_land is buying quartz blocks for $180 per 10, $18 per. Also buying Quartz pieces 4 for $8 and glow stone blocks at $30 per 10.
Not sure about 20k/hr but was an excellent payout without a doubt! Excellent idea and thanks for sharing it. I use silk to get quartz so I can harvest exp in mining world but that's my choice. Edit: After considering... get less than 200 exp/stack of qore so will likely just fort in nether from now on.
I don't keep track @Captain_Death_33 but wasn't 20k. I like it though...mining is hard for me cuz I hoard blocks instead of selling...
