Can someone check this for me. I asked some of the teachers at my school to find my error and no can seem to find it. Obviously it isn't true i just want to know where it fails.
Proof: 1=2
(This proof will utilize i aka sqrt(-1))
sqrt=squre root
1/-1=-1/1
sqrt(1/-1)=sqrt(-1/1)
sqrt(1)/sqrt(-1)=sqrt(-1)/sqrt(1)
1/i=i/1
1/2i=i/2
1/2i+3/2i=i/2+3/2i
i(1/2i+3/2i)=i(i/2+3/2i)
i/2i+3i/2i=i^2/2+3i/2i
1/2+3/2=-1/2+3/2
2=1

Hmm, I haven't worked with i much in about 18 months, but I'll take a looky lol
"1/2i=i/2" that, I'm not quite sure about that. Even if you have 1/2i and multiple it by i/i, you'll just end up with i/2i^2 which is 1/2i . Maybe that's some weird formula I'm forgetting, idk, I never really liked memorizing formulas :p
