Some people are kit abusing in sg getting entities that no one can get from surviving/exploring which is completely unfair. How can someone have: ~ a full set of fire/proj prot4 armor ~Array of enchanted weapons(fire aspect2, flame, power) ~Array of potions ~Food just by doing a command? ***************************************************************************** The point is that most games, even if they are pay to win, give you the ability of having a chance. I suggest: ~ leaving the lapis rarity as is maybe a little more. ~ Include potion ingredients in every chest, in rare ocasions, some kit potions(potions included in kits). !!These ingredients should make better potions than the ones in kits because you have to risk your life brewing them so give us good ingredients!!!.!! ~ having atleast 5EXP bottles (In a scatered fashion) in every chest.( This is not nonsense, chest need more value, sometimes they are full of sticks and gunpowder/string and there is basically no point of having string nor gunpowder because string would work for a bow but chest already have bows and gunpowder is unusable because there are little to no ingredients in chests so a splash mundane potion aint gonna help, maybe add somee blocks of sand to get some use out of gunpowder with tnt. We are looking for some consistency. Spawn is always crowded by kitt'ers so while we explore, we can brew and get exp to push them off of middle w our potions and enchant) ****************************************************************************** As a kid I was taught to difference value and price, this whole kit thing is very valuable and is a big thing to hand out, basically an exploit and is doing good on the $$$ part for the server but more bad than good by ruining the player experience. It should be $$$ demanding, If they really want to use more than 1 kit(Already having reduced cooldowns) you should charge for multiple kits, exponentially, for example. The nub wants a kit, he can have it the nub wants another kit on top?? lets charge him right away, perhaps in game currency (2K) for two kits the nub wants more?? (4k) 3 kits the nub wants more??? (8k) 4 kits the nub wants more???? (16k) 5 kits and you get the point this is a legit method in pay to win games, exponential pricing. And they will still do two kits because sg gives 2k+ in earnings so lets let them have the win but at an in-game cash, our cash. Three kits would be the kitter showdown or just a really tryhard kitter nub against pvp nubs ****************************************************************************** I honestly don't mind kitters because they usually suck. You can't expect me to win against someone who is using 5 kits per game. Every game. All day. Yes, this goes out to all of you nubs. I bet you can't do that anywhere else and that's why you stay in this server. As for Andrew, don't let these nubs ruin the empire you have built. I know this has the potential to be not the best, but the standard server everyone knows about. Don't let the #1 spot fool you, as there is someone working day and night to take you're spot, your sg is easily replaceable and the whole server is. Don't get fed up with greed and do the right thing for all the people that come in and the rest will follow, as for the rest, i'm talking about that cold hard cash you earn by giving people completely unfair advantages, someone might buy the whole server and crash the fun for everyone just for sh**s and giggles.
/kit elementalawareness,completcontrol,buffer,adventure I am assuming all of this is basically what you've been saying in-game so I haven't read much. Believe it or not, SG is much fairer than it has been with kits than ever before. Before you had to pay in real life money to use these kits. People did this and it made SG much less fair, it did however allow people a nice way to make money. Recently loads of changes have come in regarding this and because of this kits have been made free for everyone, winning bonuses have been upped drastically, and SG has been more lively than I've ever seen! My point is, most of our community has been wanting this to happen, and there would most likely be massive uproar if this happened. This is just my opinion, I may be completely wrong here, but if you don't like the idea of kits, don't use them and why don't you use them if others are? -1 Crap, I think I worded that badly.
No. Adding junk to chests is stupid. It only lowers the chances of getting more important stuff like weapons and armour. They were recently removed because of that. I can agree with some rare potions in chests, though. Every chest? let's not. We don't need everyone with sharp5 swords. What are you suggesting here? "I suggest not changing it!" is not really a suggestion.
You can add it to the code and nothing else changes. You can replace string and sticks with ingredients because wood blocks would still be able to make sticks. Ingredients are certainly not useless. You would need to open 25 chest in order to get to level 30 and sharpness V is very rare. Every player who survives and discovers 25 chest would still need to go and enchant with all the kitters running around. Fair. We are talking exp, which would be somewhat abundant but the players would still need lapis so this is totally relevant. You need to think so you can back yourself up before commenting. Stop poisoning the thread if you don't have valid arguments. Thank you. As for the name "Survival Games" you might call it "Gladiator Brutes" If you only want weapons and armor from chest. You don't know how chests work. There are 4 tiers of chests. Each tier has a list of items, each item in a tier has the same chance of apearing. So if you have 30 different items in tier 1, then each item has a 1/30 chance of appearing. Add potion junk and that chance decreases. This means the chances to get weapons and armour decrease. Just adding a handful of potions to different tiers is as much as I'd want to see. Adding potion ingredients is just clutter. When I run around arena 3 or 4 I can easily get 25+ chests. Every chest is WAAAY too much. Besides, everyone has free kits to begin with, and there's a 50% no-kit chance. No need to make it more luck based than it already is. But you find plenty of lapis in chests already. with a good chestroute you can easily find some lapis. You don't get to decide whether my arguments are valid or not. That is not at all what I said. Stop twisting my words. I said that decreasing the chances to get armour and weapons is detrimental to gameplay. How are you going to win when all you have in your inventory is a wooden axe and some potion ingredients? You don't. That's how.
I'm sure if andrew caught up he would think of something like adding an enchantment room or a pluggin that lets you enchant without the need for bookshelves.
