I think an easy fix would be to make eff7's 2000 netherstars and/or melon swords 1000 netherstars, currently the star armor is 2.2k star a piece. Which shows no one (I think) has any pieces.

 

That would make the difference too drastic.

Well, the way I see it, if your spawned group keeps up the way it is. Exp will stay where it is right now, if you guys disband, exp will rapidly drop to 600 a set! the only two suggestions for this I think will help are Kukes where Andrew does random exp drops every month (January, mobs drop exp, February, only pres, etc) or just only mineable exp from mining. As for the stars, I don't understand why nether stars are at such a high value, in my opinion they should be worth 250 each to the market, but that is not something Andrew decides. Nether stars are. User dominated market.

Well I know I enjoy a good spawner hunt. But honestly, I feel its effects may be rather blown out of proportion. I think it is a relative drop in the proverbial bucket of XP gain.

+1, I just bought a melonsword and I am now realizing that they make barely more than a pumpkin axe. This needs to change.

 

You're completely ignoring the fact that you REQUIRE at least $160 in donation features to make a good profit out of pumpkins, while melons don't require any donation feature (although ext commands+ is preferred, the cut in profit is not nearly as much as with pumpkins where you have to repair more frequently)
$160 in donation features vs 500k tool.
In user prices pumpkins require at least 800k in features, (and around 260k when trading buying ecodollars)
And if you think I shouldn't be comparing it to the donation features' user price, then how about you stop using the user price for the tool.

Another thing is, pumpkins require you to be active, melons don't.

It's fine the way it is. People are silly and comparing it to pumpkin farming which is many times more intensive and actually costs more money in EcoDollars, completely ignoring donation features. Because they think the melonsword is the only thing that affects the price.

 

I can farm melons perfectly fine without fly, the 0.585 thing just makes things seem smoother, it's not actually faster.

And you know just as well as I do that farming pumpkins without donation features cuts your profit in half, if not more. This is incomparable to melons where the cut in profit is really small, you lose maybe $300 in profit each time you have to get someone to repair (given you have someone who can come straight away and repair your tool)
And not having fly doesn't affect melon farming's profit, it's just more comfortable to farm on a slower speed for some people (I always farm without speed changes)


Pumpkins require YOU as a PERSON to be active, you have to think a whole lot more with pumpkins, while with melons you can just turn music on and hold some buttons until you need to turn around. Melons are slow paced, pumpkins are fast paced. This makes a huge difference, it's the reason why some people can easily farm melons, but not pumpkins.

 

The 30k an hour thing happens once every 5 hours maybe, mining is incredibly luck based, and in the end it makes around 17-18k an hour on average. (I've even managed to make 12k an hour with an eff7 pick once, and the highest I've ever gotten was 22k)
Also the people who say they made 30k an hour often made a mistake, didn't actually look at the time or are just lying.

 

All crops/mining have now been nerfed, melon taking the hugest hit in price drop, however pumpkins got nerfed 3k/hr.

Melon previous price : 1.85, Now : 1.65.
Pumpkin previous price : 0.50, Now : 0.40.
Wheat previous price : 0.75, Now : 0.60.
Sugarcane previous price : 0.20, Now : 0.15.
Potato previous price : 0.35, Now : 0.30.
Carrot previous price : 0.35, Now : 0.30.
Cocoa bean previous price : 0.75, Now : 0.65.

As for mining, only redstone has been nerfed.

Redstone previous price : 2.50, Now : 1.75.

Just if anyone didn't know. Also, if you could make 17k from pumpkins before (34k pumpkins) per hour, pumpkins would give you only 13,6k with all the donation features and no block lag right now.

Also mining has been nerfed around 2k-3k/hr because of the redstone nerf.
Melon farming nerfed by around 2k/hr.

 

I hope this is a joke? Not that I don't trust you but... I hate seeing all dropped and no raised prices.
