You say you edited the screenshot but all I see is a red circle around a single line. This doesn't prove anything and is only a waste of time

 

If you're looking for it, it's not well hidden. And editing screenshots can get you in some nasty trouble (like, account reset nasty).

 

Minechat, or any other form of evidence in that matter, is considered editable. The problem with MineChat as proof is there is no proof of when you took the picture, like the f2 function does in Minecraft. -1

 

Alright I am going to tell you exactly why minechat evidence isnt allowed,

Minechat for one will not tell us dates, or timestamps. Aswell as it is a lot easier to edit Minechat images than ingame minecraft images. For example the edited image you posted up there, while it may have been easy or not taken a lot of time would have been caught immediately. I am against this suggestion.

 

The issue isn't if its editable, the issue is how easily can we tell. For instance, your post is very clearly edited. Something like minechat or text logs or any of the above is very hard to detect editing on and easy to edit in the first place. That is why we don't accept it. We have never accepted them since the beginning of mine chat, due to its problems. I don't know about you, but I don't feel like getting tons of complaints about wrongful bans from mine chat evidence.

 

Also u can notice the "yeah" is bigger then the rest of the other words. clearly editable. -1
