Yes I agree totally boombox, the mining world is VERY boring due to no pvp. :|

 

I agree PVP should be brought back

 

I for one (and appears I'm not alone) prefer a world (mining world) to be a total free for all which would be closer to what the game was intended. I mean if I'm going to get butt hurt over someone griefing my stuff, I can build in the main world. I like the more realistic challenge of mining and having to cover my butt. You can booby trap your mine, can defend it against intruders, I mean it's just more realistic and adds the challenge aspect. Personally I hope they open it back up to FFA (free for all).

 

Didnt think you could add traps but If so then ye I agree it should be a FFA it has no challenge otherwise, no risk and becomes no fun, the spawn camping days of last time cannot be done as easily due to the build warps so that would eliminate that problem pretty much making it easier for builders who do not have full protection armor to use the mining world.

 

Personally I think the mining world is better how it is now, being non-pvp comes with more benefits than it being pvp. Thanks to the mining world the mainworld is no longer being torn up. We have seen more players joining and staying. Those who enjoy mining and killing mobs no longer must watch there backs, be fearful of the players that have set to kill or worry about losing there stuff. Yes it means those who PVP like myself generate less of an income but there are still more ways of earning money. The mining world can be exciting, you just must accept it for what it is.

Mining world needs to go back to the way it was the reason that xp and diamonds have completly crashed is that there are 300+ people per day farming these and that brings way to much into the economy. It destroyed the exp market and isnstarting on the ores. I have not seen this brought up yet so I will state it, when the mining world was pvp afking at a spawner was usually ended quickly, this made the nether a great way to make money and get exp, it gave nether another purpose other then quartz.... I hope the mining workd goes back to the way it was back in 2012.

 

New people need the mining world. If someone kills someone on their first 20 mins on the server, are they really going to be inclined to stay or come back?
Having the mining world not PvP makes an alternative to farming for those that detest it.
