MistyVale is still under construction but it is now open to players. I started building my town on 20th May 2015. It's a slow process as I gather all the materials I need in the mining world and I'm easily distracted lol MistyVale is aimed at new builders and residents needing a safe haven to rest their sore feet, grab a bite to eat and store their goodies. It is not a town with a huge money making farm, although it does have a basic one which I may expand later. It's definitely a place for those who like peaceful surroundings. Town Centre Spoiler The first structure built in the town and it contains the town portal on its second floor. Behind the portal is a lift down to the town. From the ground floor, MistyVale Gardens, you have access to the four main streets of MistyVale. It isn't quite finished as I risk death with the final touch. I will risk it when I'm ready to open the town lol Portal/Warp Spoiler Now portals are no longer used to gain access to towns, this is where the town warp point is. Why not pay me a visit, use /warp mistyvale and take a look round. I have now added a town/mining portal. Town Farm Spoiler The second addition to the town, a small starter farm to satisfy the needs of a hungry miner or builder. It is the first building you see when arriving through the portal and is located at the end of North Street.I will expand this farm at some point. Town Hall Spoiler The third addition to MistyVale. on completion it will contain the towns shop, e-rep station, members list and other public facilities. I'm just having a few lighting issues due to not thinking about light sources and standard ice *smacks forehead* Disclaimer: I do not claim to have designed the town hall, I believe the original designer was ILikeDerpcraft, who used sand blocks and ice. Apartment Block Spoiler The fourth addition to MistyVale. It contains 6 apartments, 1 penthouse suite, 9 basement rooms, storage room for tenants use only. All are unfurnished except one. Furnishings are negotiable. The properties are for rent but not for sale* *Some exceptions may apply Disclaimer: The original design was by Keralis, I have made alterations to the interior structure and gardens Giant Mushroom Spoiler It has no purpose at the moment, it's just a giant mushroom! I may make it my house or another farm. Having almost gone blind from all the red and white and losing my mind counting blocks I'm just glad its finished on the outside lol. It took about a week to build (limited on playing time due to work ugh) It is my fifth major build on ECC but the 7th structure built in MistyVale. It consists of approximately 9500 pieces of wool, stands 60 blocks high and is 61x61 a it's widest points. Disclaimer: The original design was by Groron. Their design was a solid structure, I have made this one hollow Hot Air Balloon Spoiler What better way to see the view and everyone loves a hot air balloon right? I found a picture of this on the net and have tried to recreate it. I had to make the basket a little bigger, than in the image, so people can walk round it. Spoiler All residents and town members must abide by the town rules. By joining the town you are agreeing to follow all of MistyVale and EcoCityCraft server rules. Failure to read or follow the rules could lead to you being removed/evicted immediately. 1. Griefing is NOT allowed! If you accidently break something, fix it! This includes any pre-built buildings/features, farms and any decorative items such as fences, benches, leaves, trees, mushrooms, pumpkins and all other crops outside of the town farm. Any damage/griefing done and not fixed/replaced will result in an immediate eviction. 2. If you purchase a plot do NOT build outside of your plot boundary. If you rent/buy a pre-built house/apartment do NOT make structural changes. ie don't take down walls or change the overall outward appearance. You can add furniture, paintings, plants and change carpet colours. Small personal 1 level garden farms are allowed within your plot boundary. Any unauthorised changes to pre-builds or over extending plot boundaries will result in an immediate eviction. 3. Replant/replace! When using the town farm/s, please replace any crops by replanting. If you do not replant, this is considered griefing. Griefing is NOT allowed. Any damage/griefing done and not fixed/replanted will result in an immediate eviction. 4. Do NOT grief other town members properties. Do NOT enter another town members property unless invited. Do NOT attempt to open another town members chests. If you grief/trespass/snoop, you will be evicted immediately. 5. Lock your doors and chests! @IamPandamonium1 is NOT responsible for stolen items. If you have evidence another member has stolen or damaged your property you can submit a claim. Evidence can be screenshots with time stamps or an investigators report. If the evidence proves your claim, the offending member will be immediately evicted. False claims with no evidence - in some cases - can also result in an eviction notice being issued to the member making the allegations. 6. Inactivity results in an eviction. If you are inactive for 14 days in a row, without prior notice given to the town mayor, @IamPandamonium1, an eviction notice will be issued. 7. Rent - Rent is due at the beginning of each month. Failure to pay your rent will result in an eviction notice. A trade sign will be placed outside your pre-built/apartment, I will collect payments around the 1st - 3rd of each month. If you fail to pay by this time you will be issued with an evictionnotice. If you know you can't pay the rent one month and feel you have a reasonable excuse, contact the town mayor, @IamPandamonium1, by forum pm before the time of collection. Constant appeals will result in an eviction notice being issued. 8. Do NOT kill any animals, with or without a nametag, within the town! If you have your own animals it is YOUR responsibility to protect and enclose them. If your animals escape and get killed this is YOUR fault. If you have evidence another member has stolen or killed your animals you can submit a claim. False claims can result in eviction. If you let the town animals escape and they get killed you are responsible for replacing them. Failure to replace town animals or stealing other town members animals will result in immediate eviction. 9. Do NOT dig down, my town is built over water! Any deaths caused by digging down and getting trapped under water is your own fault! If you are found beneath the towns ground level (62 or below) you will be evicted, unless it is in a town building/pre-built that has floors below ground level. Anyone wishing to have a basement with their plot will need to submit an application stating specifications and a reason why you need it via a forum pm to @IamPandamonium1 10. Plot Boundaries - Do NOT build on the boundary line blocks. Do NOT remove boundary line blocks. You can however place hedges, small walls or fences on them for decorative purposes. If neighbouring plots are purchased, dividing boundaries may be removed AFTER you get consent from the mayor. 11. You are NOT allowed to run a shop in your plot/apartment. If you wish to have a shop contact the mayor, @IamPandamonium1, to apply for one. Trade signs (maximum allowed: 3) inside your house/apartment for the purpose of storing xp or money are allowed providing they are not accessible to other players. 12. Help keep MistyVale a pretty place! There is a fifteen block height limit on builds. No mud huts, build something attractive or buy a pre-built. Any offensive builds will be issued with a reconstruction notice. 13. Please notify me, @IamPandamonium1, if something is wrong or you accidentally break something you can't fix as soon as it happens so I can fix it straight away 14. All EcoCityCraft server rules apply within MistyVale. Foul, Vulgar, or any Explicit Language will not be tolerated in the town or local chat Town Notices Explained Immediate eviction: If you do something that results in an immediate eviction you forfeit all of your possessions/perms in the town. An LWC will be filed immediately. Eviction notice: If you do something that results in an eviction notice being issued, you will receive it via an in-game mail and a forum pm. You will be given 3 days from the time of the eviction notice to collect your things and vacate the town. If after those 3 days your things are still there an LWC will be filed. If you grief during those 3 days the eviction will be become immediate and an LWC will be filed. Reconstruction notice: Only issued if you build a house/structure that resembles a mud hut or is offensive to others you will be issued with a reconstruction notice. You will be given 3 days to start again or it will be knocked down. Residential Plots - Available for sale Residential building rules: No basements (see rule 9) unless approved by the mayor. There is a 15 block height restriction (see rule 12) No mud huts or cobblestone cubes. Build something you can be proud of, using a variety of different materials. Reconstruction notices will be served if the mayor deems a build unsightly (see rule 12) Only build within your plot boundary (see rules 2 & 10) Small garden farms are permitted (see rule 2) Lock your doors and chests (see rule 5) A sign will placed somewhere on your plot with your username and plot number on it, do NOT remove it or you risk losing your plot. Apartments/Pre-built - Available for rent Apartments/Pre-built Rental Agreement: All apartments and pre-builds are subject to monthly rent charges. By requesting one you are agreeing to pay the monthly charge, which is due at the beginning of each month. (see rule 7) Do NOT make structural changes to the exterior or interior walls, ceilings or floors. You can add interior improvements like furniture, paintings, plants and change carpet colours. No crops are permitted in apartments or pre-built plots. (see rule 2) If the property is rented with furniture included, you may not change or remove anything. Ask the mayor before you enter the rental agreement if you wish to have a different colour scheme. (see rule 2) Lock your doors and chests (see rule 5) A sign will be placed by your door with your username and apartment/house number on it, do NOT remove it or you risk losing your rights to it. Free Builders Lots - 2 Available (more planned) There are 4 free builders lots at the moment: Lots are 7 x 4 and include 2 double chests with some welcome gifts inside* one bed, one oven and one workbench. Tenants can only be [Builder] rank and must agree to move out into another plot/apartment/pre-built once they achieve the [Resident] rank. Failure to do so will risk an eviction notice being served.
